CROWN POINT | Lake Circuit Court Judge Lorenzo Arredondo on Tuesday morning ordered election officials immediately to open early voting centers in Gary, Hammond and East Chicago, giving Democrats, the NAACP and the United Steelworkers union at least a short-term victory..........Arredondo ruled it is unfair to bar early voting centers in the county's largest cities. He agreed with Democratic arguments that early voting was essential to avoid long lines expected on Election Day.
Arredondo's ruling follows a Hammond federal court decision to leave the early voting question up the county courts
Yes, I know spell check is supposed to be my friend. My bad.
“Expect 104% turnout in Gary.”
Why so small????
“Arrendondo is a proud member of East Chicago Machine.”
They just recently convicted the 45th person (!!!) for Voter Fraud related to the 2003 East Chicago Democrat Primary...
Is there ANYONE who believes this is going to be a “Free and Fair” election this year???
I remember when Arredondo was county court judge, little more than a glorified justice of the peace. He is a demo hack through and through. You don’t have to look very closely to see the strings on him.
0bama’s got this one covered. Voter fraud, media in his pocket, awash with cash from illegal campaign contributions. I thought the left pulled out all the stops for Kerry; I was wrong.
Our nation has reached the tipping point.
Why do I have to wait until Oct. 22 to vote early in my county? (Tippecanoe)This is so not fair.
Surely they have more “dead” votes than 4%!
Why don’t anyone just make Election Day a national holiday? I think most other countries do that on election day and then NO ONE WOULD BE DISENFRANCHISED!!!!!!!!!!
That is actually a good idea. Also, make people dip their finger in the ink, to prevent double voting. Though I’m sure ACORN would oppose this as “racist”.
Agreed, if it good enough for the Iraqi’s then it’s good enough for us.
