A serious gun violence expert who is a diehard supporter of the position that more guns decrease the level of crime. His viewpoint should be taken very seriously. Coincidentally, I was just online ordering bulk ammo for my sidearm.

With Obama as Potus, Pelosi as speaker, and Dingy Harry as Senate Majority leader you can count on a national gun ban like Australia, UK, etc..

In the coming Obama administration you can bet your life that an any and every leftist form of “reasonable regulation” will be brought forward and approved. You can also bet the farm that Obama will appoint and the senate confirm only leftist judges who believe the Constitution is no more than a framework for upholding any and every fad and whim that a leftist government wants imposed. Such judges may not overturn the Second Amendment but they will render it moot by finding any and every restriction short of outright confiscation is “constitutional” (and they may not be all that much against confiscation).

My thoughts exactly. This is one of the primary reasons that I believe the polls are cooked. Minnesota, Wisconsin, Ohio and Michigan(supposedly going big for obozo now) are pretty much gun friendly states. If The One takes any of these states with his record on gun control, I can't see it being by the margin he's being credited with now.

I hope the NRA targets PA and some of these other battleground states hard. McCain is not saying anything about this as far as I can tell and it’s a winning issue.

....a national gun ban like Australia, UK, etc...

But for the ex post facto clause in the Constitution. A clearly un-Constitutional move like that would be an invitation to Commment removed by internal moderator.

I wonder why the article didn't mention the fact that the NEW RAT platform, designed and controlled by Obummer, still lays out support for the AWB ?

The RATS were punished without mercy at the polls over that and all but the barking moonbats want nothing to do with that issue again.

As I said in another post last week, BUY AMMO NOW.

While they are plotting to take away your guns, they will tax ammo so high that average citizens will not be able to offord it and that renders a weapon useless.

While I’m only 40, I think I just might understand how some felt in Europe in the 1930’s if you know what I mean.

God save us!!!

"Coincidentally, I was just online ordering bulk ammo for my sidearm."

If you would be so kind, might I trouble you for that site from which your purchased your bulk ammunition?

Thank you in advance, kinds sir. Methinks it the prudent choice to prepare oneself for the coming storm...

Including the subtitle, there are 723 words in the article. Your typical OpEd column is about 750 words, give or take some words. You could devote an entire column on the utter nonsense involved with "assault weapons ban," also known as AWB.

The RATS were punished without mercy at the polls over that and all but the barking moonbats want nothing to do with that issue again.

The barking moonbats are basically in control. So, I'm still hopeful that despite McCain's feeble efforts the RKBA WILL SAVE THE DAY.

And it's not surprising then they get bitter, they cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.

MidwayUSA this time. Pretty good deal on the 165 grain Remington (I think), case of 250.

MidwayUSA is where I went this time. I think I settled on the Remington 165 grain .40 cal, case of 250. And you’re right - better safe than cursing at empty mags.

Factcheck.org is run by leftists. Not that it matters. The McCain campaign decided to suck up to the communist biddies at the League of Women Voters.
