Oh my goodness! What are these people smoking???? These people have no clue! It’s like they’ve been duped.
I don’t think the founders ever suspected that the presidential electors would be a rubber stamp for THIS. They were supposed to use their own (better) judgment. This is the reason.
Boggles the mind.
After seeing this and seeing how 1/2 of our country can vote for the disasters that the Dem party keeps spitting out, I had to conclude that 1/2 of our country truly is stupid and/or ignorant and just don’t give a rat’s a** about anything but their instant pleasures.
Trouble is, those of us who do care have to live in this country, too, and will have to suffer the consequences of the majority of decisions made by people who have stupidized themselves.

True enough, but I think we have to realize that many of these people are fully on board with socialism, without necessarily knowing the full implications of what that involves.
Here on FR, “socialism” is correctly viewed as the gross profanity that it is, but there are large portions of the population who are actual, or de facto government employees (teachers, “firefighters”, police, etc), and thus fully dependent on an expansive government that steals from the actually productive.
I was canvassed by an Obama supporter in my quiet suburban neighborhood on Saturday. I started asking her about specifics on Obama’s platform and all she sould do was repeat what was on his brochure. As she was walking away I thought to myself, do the words “young” and “stupid” always have to go together?
Is it too much to hope that these people are too stupid or too unmotivated to find their voting precinct on Nov. 4?
Pathetic. No wonder America is doomed.

If you can’t answer some basic, common-sense questions, you have NO business participating in the decisionmaking process of our nation.
