After seeing this and seeing how 1/2 of our country can vote for the disasters that the Dem party keeps spitting out, I had to conclude that 1/2 of our country truly is stupid and/or ignorant and just don’t give a rat’s a** about anything but their instant pleasures.

Trouble is, those of us who do care have to live in this country, too, and will have to suffer the consequences of the majority of decisions made by people who have stupidized themselves.

True enough, but I think we have to realize that many of these people are fully on board with socialism, without necessarily knowing the full implications of what that involves.

Here on FR, “socialism” is correctly viewed as the gross profanity that it is, but there are large portions of the population who are actual, or de facto government employees (teachers, “firefighters”, police, etc), and thus fully dependent on an expansive government that steals from the actually productive.

They will wake up when the Democrats, controlling both houses of congress, the presidency and a majority on the Supreme Court re-establish a draft in order to force their sorry asses to defend themselves. With BHO as Commander-in-Chief no one worth a crap will want to serve.
