FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE September 24, 2008 Contact: Pepper Pennington 202-225-2706 Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Uncovers Vote Fraud in 24th District Tom Feeney Joined 38 Members Requesting Investigation into ACORN by Attorney General

(Washington, DC) – After reports that the Seminole County Supervisor of Elections uncovered vote fraud in Central Florida, Tom Feeney (R-Oviedo) today pointed yet again to the need for an investigation and hearings to probe potential abuse of taxpayer funds by the Association of Community Organizers for Reform Now (ACORN). In June, Rep. Feeney joined Congressman Jeb Hensarling and Congressman Ed Royce to urge Chairman Barney Frank to convene a hearing on potential ACORN illegalities. Last week, Rep. Feeney joined 38 other members to request an immediate Department of Justice investigation into whether or not ACORN is engaging in criminal voting fraud, promoting fraudulent registrations, or criminally misusing taxpayer funds.

Acorn and others like them — motor voter, register and vote, etc — this is all a load of horse manure. Designed for cheating. Decades ago, I went to the proper office in my county and registered to vote. I have moved into different precincts since, and always got myself out of the old and into the new. If anyone is too lazy or stupid to do it on their own, they are too lazy or stupid to vote.

ACORN is like a bunch of cockroaches scattered throughout the battleground states. Thank God this came out in advance of these elections and IT IS getting noticed!! AND Obamas connection is one he cannot refute. I look forward to seeing charges filed and faces on TV all over America. If this doesn’t make you want to vote for McCAin...I don’t know what will. America will not tolerate a cheater. Obama’s going down....

Amazingly there’s not one mention of Hussein. It does no good to merely speak of the name of the organization. Naming names gets the sheeple’s attention.

Is that not the county that had 1200 more votes, in the last election, than lived there?

The solution:

  1. Smaller Precincts not more than 500 voters;
  2. Every voter personally know to the precinct captain;
  3. Count the votes right after the poll closes and give any one interested a certified copy of the results as soon as the precinct results are certified;
  4. Forward sealed balot boxes and votor tally sheets with certified results to county election supervisor for safe keeping and inclusion in the total county vote;
  5. Give certified copies of the certified county vote to anyone interested as soon as the county vote is certified.
  6. Forward county certifications to the state election supervisor with copies to the local newspapers.

That is how I would start to clean up this mess. I am sure others can add to the list

This is in my county- but not my district. I’m calling Mica’s office tomorrow to find out what’s going on in this district.

Thanks for posting..

Postal delivery folks recognize most of their RFD clients on sight. They should be recruited as “poll-watchers”.

Wasn't 0bama a "community organizer"?

You are quite welcome. I heard Tom Feeney on Fox News talking a few days ago (I think it was Friday) about ACORN and he said this information would be on his site soon.

Surprisingly, for the smallest county in FL we sure are in the election news often.

In 2000, Gore tried to get 15,000 absentee ballots thrown out because the Supervisor of Elections let Republicans pen-in voter ID numbers on about 1,900 absentee ballot applications weeks before the election took place while under supervision in the Supervisor of Elections office.

In our state (and others) the parties could send out their own absentee ballot requests. So both Democrat and Republican parties sent out the applications. The people then return their applications and the Supervisor of Elections then sends the absentee ballots out.

It was all 15,000 returned absentee ballots that Gore wanted tossed, not just the 1,900 returned due to the requests the Republicans had a hand with.

Sort of flew in the face of his "Count every vote" mantra. Then again, we've seen since then the Democrats ignore that when they want to anyhow.

"Postal delivery folks recognize most of their RFD clients on sight."

Around here, they not only know me and my wife by sight, but, they recognize us in our automobile driving down the road.

Occasionally we meet and the Postman will pass our mail to us from car to car. Try that in the big city!

Mine was one of those ballots they wanted to throw out in 2000. They targeted Seminole because it’s predominantly Republican. The case was brought by Harry Jacobs, who had the audacity to run for office in the next election. I never took so much pleasure voting against someone as I did voting against him.

From what I’ve been reading, Orange County is having a lot of trouble with ACORN as well.

I’m having trouble seeing the big picture. I can understand why giving their employees quotas would encourage them to get phony signatures, but I don’t get how this would allow them to sway the election. How would that work? Would they have people showing up at the polls claiming to be the fictitious voters from the forms? Wouldn’t it be suspicious when 20 people with the same name show up? I don’t understand.

"...Would they have people showing up at the polls claiming to be the fictitious voters from the forms? Wouldn’t it be suspicious when 20 people with the same name show up...?"

With different fake names, one person could appear in the line registering "A through D"—then vote. Then move to "E through G" and vote again—rinse, repeat.

But it's OK because Their Cause is a Just Cause.
