It isn't only that the most anti-capitalist politician ever nominated by a major party is favored to take the White House. It's that he'll also have a filibuster-proof Congress led by politicians who are almost as liberal.
Throw in a media establishment dedicated to the implementation of a liberal agenda, and the smothering of dissent wherever it arises, and it's no wonder panic has set in.
What is that agenda? It starts with a tax system right out of Marx: A massive redistribution of income from each according to his ability, to each according to his need all in the name of "neighborliness," "patriotism," "fairness" and "justice."
It continues with a call for a new world order that turns its back on free trade, has no problem with government controlling the means of production, imposes global taxes to support continents where our interests are negligible, signs on to climate treaties that will sap billions more in U.S. productivity and wealth, and institutes an authoritarian health care system that will strip Americans' freedoms and run up costs.

really thankful for IBD lately. They’re shooting straight and being honest and unafraid. Thanks for posting this as everything their editorial board is writing about socialism and propaganda are going on my blog.
Nobel laureates in economics is not really a plus...but anyone got a link?
how many threads are you going to spam today with this? This is not a pro-life thread and neither are a host of the other ones you are posting this on. Everything has its place.
“The businesses that create jobs and generate wealth are already discounting the future based on what they know about Obama’s plans to raise income, capital gains, dividend and payroll taxes, and his various other economy-crippling policies. Which helps explain why world stock markets have been so topsy-turvy.
But don’t take our word for it. One hundred economists, five Nobel winners among them, have signed a letter noting just that:
“The prospect of such tax-rate increases in 2010 is already a drag on the economy,” they wrote, noting that the potential of higher taxes in the next year or two is reducing hiring and investment.
It was “misguided tax hikes and protectionism, enacted when the U.S. economy was weak in the early 1930s,” the economists remind us, that “greatly increased the severity of the Great Depression.”
We can’t afford to repeat these grave errors.
Yet much of the electorate is determined to vote for the candidate most likely to make them. If he wins, what we consider to be a crisis in today’s economy will be a routine affair in tomorrow’s.”
Well said. Sad, but well said. I call it the liberal guilt “death wish.”
I find it so outrageous that he’s running ads here showing how he’s a huge tax cutter, and McCain’s an increaser.
Unreal.
If so, eventually the US will see investment leave, jobs leave, and talent leave. At this point all the left will be able to count on to keep people and their $ here will be nostalgia or threats of state violence.
I’m an American, but if America is killed by the lefties, then it’s off to that new land of opportunity. After all, our forebears once left their homelands in search of an opportunity to pursue their dreams.
Liberals are ultimately incredibly stupid. They’re children. They want everything and they want it now. Of course they expect the market to continue to turn out all of the innovative products it does. Yet they expect that massive government interference in the marketplace won’t change a thing.
Hopefully enough voters wise up and see the giant, putrid wave coming from the left.
STRONG STUFF.
Pray that it works.
Obama will turn this country upside down.I’ve given up trying to talk sense to the libs at work. They(libs)are w/out doubt the most obtuse and arrogant people i’ve ever met in my life.
amazing...made me cry...I sure hope it works......
sorry..replied to wrong person...this vidio link is awesome!...thank yo so much for positing it!
Maybe McCain should get the Justice Dept to bring charges against Obama’s campaign for telling falsehoods about McCain’s proposals. It would get some headlines and maybe focus some eyes on the coming Fascist govt we will have when /if Obama wins.
That said, If we do not defeat this Communist take-over attempt, there will be a backlash like my generation has never seen. (I am 60)
I have kept the following quote for many years:
"Adversity employs great talents; prosperity renders them useless and carries the inept, the corrupted wealthy and the wicked to the top.
May they bear in mind that virtue often contains the seeds of tyranny.
May they bear in mind that it is neither gold nor even a multitude of arms that sustains a state, but its morals.
May each of them keep in his house, in a corner of this field, next to his workbench, next to his plow, his gun, his sword, and his bayonet.
May they all be soldiers.
May they bear in mind that in circumstances where deliberation is possible, the advice of old men is good, but that in moments of crisis youth is generally better informed that its elders.
Denis Diderot
Apostrophe to the Insurgents, 1782"
This reminds me of the October, 1917 Revolution in Russia.
A hardcore well organized left with a dynamic leader, Lenin.
that utterely destroyed its other leftwing opponents, the Mensheviks
A demoralized population tired of war
A weak government, Kerensky,
Hardcore left today-leader Obama,
The defeated left-Clinton
Demoralized population-tired of Iraq war-high gas prices,
A weak government, Bush and possibly a weak opponent-McCain. I say weak-there are 3 weeks to go and McCain may surprise us.
IBD...is one of the treasures of honesty.
Buy physical gold, sell US stocks (especially healthcare and energy), get OUT of US dollars? Buy foreign equities and currencies where capital is treated well (China? Japan? Australia? Canada?).
The dollar is so toast. All this spending and future liabilities. We will ultimately default or hyper inflate. There is no alternative to this.
When you compare here and now with 1917 Russia, don’t forget that Russia didn’t go Communist without a Civil War.
