As an alternative, I go to a message board called Topix, in this case at the Ct Post. There are good conservative folk mixed in with left scum. I find posting there cathartic.

Everything’s fine. If you see a problem, it’s your computer. Take it to a shop and tell the technician that you think you need to have a few of the vaccuum tubes replaced in your Pentium.

Hey mon, I ain’t got to do that, I have an old tube tester and will just drop by the drug store for replacements. Now where did I put that darn thing.
