Newsbusters: The New York Times took the unusual step of quickly editing and replacing a hysterical post by hockey blogger Lynn Zinser that covered Sarah Palin's appearance at the Philadelphia Flyers home opener where she was invited to drop a ceremonial puck. In her original post Zinser exaggerated the boos by the crowd, attacked Flyers owner Ed Snider for inviting Palin to the event and appears to have fabricated the discomfort felt by NHL players Scott Gomez and Mike Richards.
Gomez, a native Alaskan, looked quite comfy with the Governor.
I naturally assumed that the Rangers selected him for this honor because that was appropriate.
It all looked rather cozy to me.
Hysterical tabloids headlines: Palin drops puck faster than babies!! Piper Palin continues to be cuter than all get-out!
(Take that, MSM.)
IMHO, it’s okay to have an article posted twice. Providing they’re not right next to each other.
This gives freepers who can’t come online until later in the day and don’t happen to see the first post, a chance to weigh in.
I search for the other post, but the only way I found it was to look for it under my posts.
I guess the search engine depends on whatever the poster used for key words.

Thanks machogirl. It never ceases to amaze me how fast some posters are at finding where things have already been posted. I’m obviously using the wrong search criteria before I post. Anyway, I’ll go now and check out the comments on the previous thread.
Cheers!
She should be fired!
Just noticing that a lot of the leftist women reporting on Sarah....look very much alike. Blonde, straggly hair, gaunt faced Sheehan look-alikes.
Must be in their genes...??
The "overbite" or olberman was NOT present at SNF, hmmm!!!
lol, there are a lot of barf alerts.
you’re welcome, the only way i knew it was there, was that i posted on it.
i do think that there is merit in having an article posted more than once.
i don’t spend 24/7 on FR, as much as i like it.
there are a lot of articles i don’t get to read.
I watched the video and the boo’s were pretty pronounced.
I think it is just a popular look with the urban Doc Martin wearing set.
“No longer looking to discuss the merits of criticism or even bother to do more than a cursory examination of the issues, the media has relegated itself to being nothing more than a complimentary mouthpiece for Barack Obama.”
Sure, why examine the candidates or the issues with three weeks to go before election time... What a waste of time that would be! Wow... The Palin attack has been breathtaking. One can only hope it’ll ultimately backfire.
McCain/Palin ‘08!
Looks like her face was ‘puck-dropped’ a few times.
Good to see the Times back to its old practice of publishing lies.
These women are bitter, unhappy people. Anyone who disagrees with them is stupid, deranged or both. Does that sound like the old Soviet Union?
Or it may be because of what has never been in their jeans.
