Dear Friend, You're not going to believe this. In the same week that the No on 8 campaign launched an ad that labeled as "lies" claims that same-sex marriage would be taught in schools to young children, a first grade class took a school-sponsored trip to a gay wedding. Eighteen first graders traveled to San Francisco City Hall Friday for the wedding of their teacher and her lesbian partner, The San Francisco Chronicle reported. The school sponsored the trip for the students, ages 5 and 6, taking them away from their studies for the same-sex wedding. The wedding was officiated by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, who arrogantly welcomed the arrival of same-sex marriage by saying "The door's wide open now. It's gonna happen, whether you like it or not." It's no wonder that the No on 8 campaign is fighting tooth and nail to get our ads pulled off the air. It's because they're true. Not only will schoolchildren be taught about same-sex marriage if Prop 8 fails, it's already happening. To make sure Californians know the truth, we need you to do three things right now:
Thank you for all that you do. Please spread the word and make sure your neighbors know the truth before they vote!

I used to be a “bad” person for expecting people to wait until they were married. Next I was a “bad” person for assuming people were heterosexual. Then I was a “bad” person for thinking that marriage was between a man and a woman and that it was the foundation of a family. Now I’m a “bad” person for not wanting my 5 year old to go to a gay wedding.
Can you say “slippery slope?” Too late. We’re tumbling headlong down it.
I always cry at weddings...
SHEESH! That's a bit extreme, isn't it?
Just because you don't believe in homosexual marriage, doesn't mean you have to spew this kind of vile stuff, does it?
Ewww. Close that backdoor Gavin.
That pic always makes me laugh...lol. What parent would raise a child in San Francisco these days anyway? They need to have their heads examined...(eye roll)
One word...SICKENING!
“believe in gay marriage”? Sheesh, THAT’S what I’d call extreme language. If you want to know what’s vile stuff, see post 4.
I’m not attacking anyone. They can do as they please if they keep it private. By private I mean not in my face and not in the face of young kids. But DO NOT expect me to condone it, embrace it, approve of it, or support it.
The problem is that they confuse “tolerance” which most of us have, with “approval.” If I approved of it, I wouldn’t have to tolerate it, now would I?
There is no tolerance for my views by them. Double standard.
I agree that the "field trip" was absolutely, and positively innapropriate.
If my son's school suggested such a "field trip" I would not allow him to attend and I would raise holy hell at the school about it.
I was just making a point that ALL homosexuals are not "filthy" and "disease ridden".
If you look at my post, I didn't call it "gay marriage". Yes, post 4 made me shudder.
Just lost my breakfast. Thanks a lot, billorites.
