Fox's Beltway Boys say Obama's got it in the bag

Posted on 10/11/2008 3:20:19 PM PDT by dascallie

They just said it is a foregone conclusion that Obama's win ( my paraphrase).

Good lord. Thanks guys.

They say it would take a 3000 point rise in the stock market to save McCain now.

The dems special interest agenda caused this debacle and the GOP takes the fall. Is there no justice?

But WHY never any mention of the stinkin' muck and company Obama keeps?

Becuase we have nothing to fear from an Obama Administration.

I didn’t want to watch the Beltway Boys today or any other political show because they just depress me right now. I turn to Freerepublic to help give me hope that things will be OK. So now I don’t have to watch the Beltway Boys. This headline has just thrown me in a funk. Not that the Beltway Boys are right. But this is reminding me more and more of the 1992 election when everyone gave up on George HW Bush, and Rush and others who were trying to keep a stiff upper lip said that the polls were meaningless and that the election hadn’t been held yet. Of course it was a 3 way race then, and Clinton did only get 43%. Unfortunately, Bush got only about 38 or 39%.

Many conservatives were willing to hold their nose and vote for McCain, simply because he wasn't Obama. Then along came Paln and things got better and he gained more support. But he eventually reverted to the self righteous, sanctimonious old man that he is. And yesterday, he finally took the gloves off and began the kind of campaign he loves...combating his supporters and giving a mild endorsement to Obama. "he is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States"

And in return, Obama patted McCain on the head and said "good doggy".

Of course business as usual continues in the hate filed swamps of Obama supporters.

First, they actually need an opposition.

I am hoping, and praying, that the polls mean nothing again, as they meant nothing in the 2000 and 2004 elections. Both times in the past they said that the Dems were ahead and indicated that they would win.

I am hoping that most mainstream Americans, who are too busy trying to live and survive in this world to “do polls”, will show up and vote for Palin and McCain and show these communists, once and for all, and again, that most Americans just don’t WANT socialism/communism. A fact that the lefties keep trying to ignore.

God help us if I am wrong.

They have been wrong before.

how in God’s name are we ever going to be able to take back the media from them?

I don't know if we can. That's my biggest fear. If O wins, I truly believe he (and his veto-proof majority Dem Congress along with the new "international" colleagues) will move very quickly to eliminate any critical voices in the media. a.k.a. Rush, Hannity, local conservative talk shows, internet regulations, etc. Opposition will effectively be outlawed under the guise of "fairness." Securing the media outlets will be the modern-day equivalent of raping all the women.

There will be a 300 point rise in the stock market before election day, unless Soros & Co are manipulating the market.

Most reporters and pundits are doing this now that its near the end....they want access to the Hussein Administration.

All Fox's reporters are bending over backwards with careful words not to tick of the Pres-elect.

Although McCain is pathetic, I believe Governor Sarah Palin will drag him over the finish line in front of Obama.

I think there are millions of Americans that don't feel so good about voting for the relatively mysterious Obama in these troubled times. Yes, President Bush is toast with the voters - but he's not running. The polls are always saying the Democrat is going to win. I pay little attention to them anymore as I believe many folks are telling pollsters one thing (I'm for Obama) but will do another (vote for McCain) on November 3rd. What two political commentators (one, a liberal) happen to think three weeks away from the election is hardly cause for gnashing of teeth or all this animosity toward Fox News, which is not 'conservative' as we might understand the word but is fair and balanced. The other networks and just about all the liberals despise Fox News. That shows me they must be worth watching.

The vast majority of the media has been bending over backwards for Obambi's campaign since day one. That is part of the problem. We, the people, are being railroaded big time!

Fox is starting to sound more and more just like MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, & NPR. hey Fox, keep this up and your ratings will slide.

Remember that "secret meeting" between Roger Ailes and Obama?

My guess is that Obama threatened Ailes with revocation of FOXNew's WH press credentials if he were elected. If the FOXNews leadership thinks that Obama has it in the bag, it would fit that they are now going into the tank for him in order to preserve their access.

The MSM came out of the closet this election. They put all their eggs in Obamas basket. There is no going back for them, now. They can never try to appear unbiased again. I don’t know what will happen to them. I thought they would have went belly up a long time ago.
