Hey Yall,
This just happened to my husband and I wanted to alert you all to this. Apologies if I have filed this under the wrong category; moderators please fix as necessary.
My husband and I live in the San Francisco area and are registered to vote by mail permanently. We both successfully voted in the California Republican primary earlier on February 5. In September I received a notice that I would get my Presidential ballot in early October but he did not. When I got mine last week but he did not get his, he called the voter registration line. They told him he was declared dead and taken off the rolls! Needless to say, they are sending him a ballot immediately.
I just wanted everyone to know about this; had we not been registered to vote by mail and gotten early notice, I am not sure we would have found out about this in time to vote in November!
My husband does not have a common name and we find it hard to believe someone with the same name as his died in Santa Clara county between February and September. However, he does get a lot of Republican mail (for some reason I do not also get). I am wondering if someone (cough Acorn cough) is targeting Republican voters and illegally removing us from the rolls by declaring us dead.
So please check and make sure you are registered to vote!
C’mon, now. When you die, you automatically are enrolled as a registered Democrat.
Yeesh! what a mess this is becomming.
Why haven’t they got rid of this thug Acorn group before?
everyone should REGISTER DEMOCRAP to make it easier
then vote for whoever you like
Folks this happens more often than you can imagine
I found my signature had been forged on my registration, and that I had been registered as an independant (and I know who was behind it, although O cannot prove it)
Report it to the RNC so they at least have a documented case of that happening. IT’s possible it’s just a clerical error... But when there are hundreds of clerical errors... then it becomes fraud.
Some states don’t make it that simple.
Thank heavens you found this out.
But even if you didn’t, your husband could fly to Ohio, register and vote numerous times! :)

America is being seized by liberal indoctrination. Now, the very freedom of voting has been sullied by liberals.
Liberals are the most dishonest people on the planet, headed up by Obama and his forked tongue.
You can’t trust banks, congress, the media and now the voting process has been invalidated by Bus Drivers for Obama.
BO STINKS!
*snort*
Ain’t that the truth!!!!

This is one of the reasons I WON’T vote absentee. If I get to the polls, and my name is missing or already checked off, I’m going to raise more kinds of hell than they’ve ever seen. If I voted absentee, I’d never know.
Election RostersElection rosters may be printed prior to the 15 day close of registration. California has a provisional voting process to handle voters whose eligibility to vote cannot be verified by a precinct worker.
If a voter's name does not appear on the election roster at his or her polling place location, the person will be required to show proof of current residence in order to receive a provisional ballot.
Ballots for such voters are placed in provisional ballot envelopes. Each provisional ballot is researched by election officials. A provisional ballot is not counted unless the Elections Official establishes from the records in their office the claimants' right to vote prior to the completion of the official canvass, or by order of the Superior Court in the county of the voter's residence.
Nope registration is over in Ohio....so even if I checked and we were taken off, I don’t think we could fix it. Although, we are both registered as dems.....(due to a primary I wanted to vote in to get rid of our scumbag 25 year mayer) so I’m sure we weren’t declared dead as we are dems on their list.
Interesting.
Why would being dead stop you from voting?
