LOL how about Big Boy Toys, or Workin on Workin Mans PHD! Throw a little Drill Here, Drill Now, and Stars and Stripes, Tippin could even perform them with his guitar, (that my brother built, btw, yeah braggin rights) And we have ourselves a true Conservative theme!! Brooks and Dunn are conservative, as are many others. Trace Adkins, Montgomery Gentry, and one member of Bug and Rich. Others too, too long a list to mention. A much shorter list are the country stars who are liberals.

“Ms. Peters says she donates any royalties from the song accrued “during this election cycle to Planned Parenthood in Sarah Palin’s name. “
I guess Sarah gets the charitable tax deduction then, eh?

"The fact that the McCain-Palin campaign is using a song about an abused woman as a rallying cry for their vice presidential candidate, a woman who would ban abortion, even in cases of rape and incest, is beyond irony," Ms. Peters says in an e-mail. Isn't it kind of ironical that this songwriter doesn't see the connection between abused women and murdered babies, half of which were going to grow up to be women?
There is no greater abuse than being killed before you have a chance live.

When I said I didn’t want to punish Martina, I was talking about depriving her of some exposure by pulling her from Hannity’s show. I know she has sold some CDs based on his playing her song. I even thought about buying one a while back and never would have even known Martina McBride before that.

Well, I still hope that McCain doesn’t use Big & Rich’s “Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy.”

Given the crowds’ activities this past week, I nominate Hank Jr.’s “All My Rowdy Friends Are comin’ Over Tonight”!

It sounds like Gretchen Peters is a baby killer.
Please don't confuse this Gretchen with Gretchen Wilson. Gretchen Wilson is on our side. She is not a Communist. Gretchen Wilson is also an awesome singer.

Oh, Peters wouldn’t want Hannity to pull it as his theme song, she’s living off of royalties from him.
I appreciate his using Martina McBride, but hope he finds another song because, frankly, I have always strongly disliked “Independence Day.” Actually, I always thought the lyrics were just plain stupid.
So I am either insensitive or have never been abused. Both, actually. On the other hand, I never felt the need or right to tear apart limb from limb a baby growing in my womb.

Have you heard Ted’s “I am the NRA”? Heard part of it, pull that together with John Rich’s “Raising McCain”....

She does a song that says something about “sing it anyway” that’s nice, but it probably wouldn’t be great as a theme.

I don’t know if it was a one-off thing, but the most ridiculous was when McCain was using ABBA’s “Take a Chance On Me.” There’s a message to fire up the electorate. Next, he could use the Mills Brothers’ I Ain’t Got Not Body. “Come and take a chance with me, ‘cause I ain’t so bad.”

Ms. Peters says she donates any royalties from the song accrued "during this election cycle to Planned Parenthood in Sarah Palin's name. I hope with the additional income provided by the McCain-Palin campaign, Planned Parenthood will be able to help many more women in need." What a b!tch!!

It is also interesting that Mrs(or is it Miss) Peters favors the irony to have her name so close to Laci Peterson who was killed, fetus and all. Hell there have been cases where if a woman is pregnant, the man will force an abortion on her or kill her, as a form of domestic abuse. Perhaps Mrs. Peters should understand a few legal cases of Scott Peterson and of at least one guy who killed a woman because she was pregnant and wanted to have the baby.
That is sort of why the first Feminists were against Abortion. Just another leeway for those men to not have consequences of their actions. And this is a songwriter in the Country/Western music industry. Even in Nashville you get real mindless and brainless Artsy Liberals.
