I have now become a former Barack Obama supporter who will post my mind on his forums!

I truly believe there were a lot of Obama supporters who thought he was a beacon of Change and Hope! I did to at first, I really took a look at Obama and said wow maybe he is going to stop all this Govt. Corruption. He sounds like MLK...he will bring peace and dignity back to America.

I hated people in Europe thinking we are such haters and money lover and warmongers...I thought he would bring a level of respect to the White House! and then....

I saw something that really bothered me...I saw with my own eyes...Obama flip off Hillary during a campaign speech..then I saw it again....and then the song by Ludacrus....his connection to Rezko..didnt bother too much but then..Michelle was a lawyer involved...her speech....Rev Wrights speech..Obama never heard him talk like that....? The Pfluegers speech on Hillary..WHAT! Obama says nothing...then the financial crises....Black Caucus...Ayers....Franklin Raines..Johnson....Farrakan.....Meeting with Iran leader.....(i got off the Obama boat to Kenya...after Rev Wright)....and now his connection to ACORN AND ODINGA!

What a lie...what a let down.....he used his country and his so called Black brothers...to promote his own agenda...

He used the youth to promote change....CHANGE AMERICA....

as stated by Louis Farrakahn.

Sorry..and Welcome. Peace be with you!

Welcome to FR.

You will discover that the people who post on this site are not monolithic in their views- sometimes there are heated discussions between social conservatives and small-l libertarians (of which I am one).

And, as long as one does not stray too far into "tin foil hat" territory, there's an amazing tolerance for a diversity of opinion in what gets posted and commented on here- unlike places you've undoubtedly gone, like DU and Kos, where any deviation from the lockstep thoughtstyle of the Left will get you banned in a heartbeat.

People *do* get banned here, but it's fairly uncommon, unless they're outright trolls.

Occasionally a long-time poster gets banned, but it's infrequent enough to where it's newsworthy. That should tell you something.

Some may call you a troll and disruptor because you just joined, and while trolls *do* register (and especially lately as there appears to have been a directive for 0bots to post talking points as widely as possible in order to dilute the concentration of factual posting regarding 0), my personal take on new posters is to watch and see.

"By their posts you shall know them".

And I myself am not immune to this:

I tore somebody a new one before looking at their posting history and suffered a case of "poster's regret"- So I hit the "Report Abuse" button and asked the Admin Mods to remove my post.

Anyway, kick back and enjoy. And if you were involved in the campaign (either officially or as part of the grassroots) and have any illuminating information from those experiences, we do have a "Bloggers and Personal" category where such things can be posted. Just try to exercise quality control if you consider doing so, as a lot of them aren't worth reading.

And hang on, it's gonna be a bumpy October.

Odd that you chose the screen name of struggle. I always associate the word struggle with Communism, as in the manifesto.
