Obama's FORMER supporters at My.BarackObama.com say "Obama let us down" by Bill Levinson
We have little doubt that the people who posted these entries will soon have their My.BarackObama.com accounts disabled by Obama's moderators (and at least one did), in which case we are delighted to welcome them to PUMA or the GOP, whichever they prefer. Since their pages will doubtlessly be taken down as well, we will include the Google caches for reference. What we are looking at is what organizational science calls "loss of commitment," and its result is total organizational disaster. The original "Say it ain't so" is, incidentally, from the 1919 Chicago "Black Sox" scandal.

ACORN By Lindsay - Oct 9th, 2008 at 7:37 pm EDTThis ACORN stuff is really really bad. As a voter, I really need to know that Obama wasn't funding an organization that willingly engaged in voter fraud.
This could be a game changer for me.

...We now have the problem of questioning 1) voter registration and actual voting in these states; 2) Obama's responses to criticism. And if we have to question all of that, then how can we take at face value anything this ticket says?
For my part, I feel very let down. I feel a total lack of trust in this team, and in what has been voiced in the various sound bites and rhetoric.
...This is a campaign of change? From what? to What? This sounds like Chicago politics as usual.

ACORN is all about the economy. That organization was involved in forcing our legislature to force banks to make subprime loans to people who couldn’t keep up with the mortgage payments.
If I were Biden, I’d want out.
And we all thought Biden was going to embarrass Obama! Sheesh!
Odd that you chose the screen name of struggle. I always associate the word struggle with Communism, as in the manifesto.
Either McCain has lost his fire to win, or he is once again reaching across the aisle to give a fellow Council on Foreign Relations member the “respect” he does not deserve.
The Lord has no use for the lukewarm, and those who compromise are lukewarm.
One cannot compromise and win an election, John
Actually, when I was going through college, I used to be a frequent IRC user under a different name. I set the channelbots channel entry announcement for my nick to say “______has entered the room (___ more days until college graduation) the struggle continues.” Eventually I changed the name to struggle and it just stuck. maybe i should do the same since im a grad student now....
Finally!
I’ve been furious all summer because Obummer was getting away with bragging about being a “community organizer” (as if that was something to be proud of) while somehow never mentioning that it was ‘organizing’ for ACORN.
Amen from this corner also.
We can spread the word, but don’t hold your breath waiting for this scandal to appear where it would do the most good: on the front pages of the big lib rags and reported by the alphabet networks. There has been a concerted conspiracy by Big Media to ignore or shut down any attempts to reveal Obama’s corrupt and scandal-plagued past. Full disclosure about ACORN by the Big Media mouthpieces would mean Obama losing millions of votes and most likely the election. They won’t allow that since getting their Marxist savior elected is the most important thing on their agends. Screw the truth. Any other candidate’s electoral chances would have been sunk long ago if they’d had the same disgraceful past as Obama.
