ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- As most states finalize voter rolls this week, Republican officials are reviving alarms about vote fraud.
One of the biggest instances of suspicious registrations is here in New Mexico, where the Federal Bureau of Investigation has opened a preliminary investigation into 1,400 potentially fraudulent voter registrations in the state's most populous county. SNIP
Mr. Iglesias said a task force set up after the 2004 election struggled to find a prosecutable case. In one typical example, a woman who faked registration forms "was doing it to get paid. She could not care less about the outcome of the election." She wasn't charged.

RNC: ACORN Group Submits Faulty Registrations, Officials Charge

Ping.
I’m no legal scholar. But if this is a mult-state concerted effort at vote fraud, doesn’t that make it more serious (prosecutable..if that’s even a word) than just an intrastate case of voter fraud?
goodnight. And I mean it on the first try.

RICO comes to mind.
Isn’t this why US Attorney Fitzgerald is going after them in a RICO case?
Another problem in another state with ACORN. Is there any state where ACORN has been active that is not having a voter registration fraud problem?
And if, as we are led to believe, Obama is such a cinch to win, why all of this effort?
When BO gave ACORN 800 000 dollars, doesn’t that implicate him in RICO charges?
“After discovering a box of misplaced ballots, officials declared Al Gore the winner by fewer than 400 votes out of about 600,000 cast.”

Coincidences are always interesting. I wonder if this person was related to the people who “found” enough additional (lost) votes to change the Wash. State Governor’s race in 2004 from a losing proposition for Christine Gregoire into a winning campaign.
Isn’t it also funny how these coincidences always happen with Democrats. Sort of like the dead people who always vote a straight Democrat ticket. Odd, these things.
Ping!
I hope so!!!
So what I dont understand is how far along do these investigations need to be before definitive action is taken - ACORN not allowed to register voters, the registrations in place made null & void, etc? Lets be clear - if all the fraudulent registrations in place today are allowed to stand, it could mean The One wins. That would be nothing less then a travesty!
In the very least, ACORN should lose tax payer funding.
In the very most, Officials of ACORN should be investigated and prosecuted under RICO.
We thought Florida in 2000 was bad. This is going to be catastrophic no matter who wins. If it’s McCain, Blacks will riot and call for Revolution. If it’s Obama, threats of assassination will be made along with calls for Revolution. Everyone brace for impact.

Don’t worry. As long as cable TV is still functioning, the malls are still open, spectator sports are still being played, and reality shows are broadcast, no one will care much a few days after the election. I mean, how much intellectual and emotional energy does one have to spare when Tila Tequila is trying to find love?
