TOO HOT TO HANDLE
New York Post ^ | October 10, 2008 | R. MONELL

IT'S the most delicate subject on TV right now - is TV ready for a 14-year-old gay kid?

In the first two seasons of "Ugly Betty," Justin Suarez - Betty's Broadway-loving, Martha Stewart-worshipping nephew - loses his father, gets into trouble, and struggles to fit in with kids his own age - when it is obvious that he is still trying to figure out his sexuality.

I can’t wait for the episode where he gets corn holed by his 43-year-old guidance counselor, identifies with his tormentor, and in turn starts preying upon his pre-pubescent cousins.

He eventually becomes an esteemed Professor of Education.

A saga.

Something, thank goodness, I will never see. I wouldn't watch that show if I were paid to. If the premise of isn't bad enough, adding this character would do it. For folks I associate with, it is the kiss of death for the show.As is every single network show that preaches on the same subject, or demonizes the military. Narrows the field, but there is always History channel or SciFi.

Networks sooner or later, might want to consider, we watch television to be entertained. Not to be offended or worse, nauseated.

Is NAMBLA a real organization? or some secret shadow organization?

I mean is there a mailing list and meetings and have they set an agenda etc. Is there a spokesman? A headquarters?

You would think that would make it easy to round them up and arrest them.

I don't know if TV is ready for him but certainly Barney Frank or the late Gerry Studds would be...

The real subject that is too hot for TV or Hollywood to handle is children who are not interested in sexuality yet.

Think about it. They continually push younger and younger children to become sexual, to the point of propaganda. But the truth is that even in high school, most children are still children.

After puberty, they are like little hunch-puppies, “all hormones and nerve endings”, and they know that they are supposed to become sexual beings, but they aren’t there yet.

In truth, only a tiny minority become sexually active before the age of 17-18, and many of those were molested, often by family, at a very young age. Those that are just entering adulthood are still very gawky about sex. The girls are more emotionally mature, the boys wanton and reckless. Sexual activity at that age has nothing to do with a healthy and stable relationship, which is far beyond the imaginings of most children.

But the propaganda fouls up the natural biological aging process. Parents who put their four year olds in string bikinis, or dress them like Jon Benet Ramsey when they are six. Boys who are forced to pretend that they have sex with girls at the age of 10. Girls who take birth control pills at 12, “just in case”.

What TV and Hollywood does is pedophilia by proxy. There is nothing they love more than seeing a child like Brooke Shields or Dakota Fanning, sexually abused and debased. That is their idea of art. But those same people are just disgusted with girls who have grown up and become more worldly. Who no longer have innocence that can be corrupted.

Why is it that Hollywood directors and producers are so preoccupied with child buggery?
