We should learn our lesson to never have a Senate candidate ever again. Having said that, we need to continue to support his candidacy to save this land!

Bravo! Very well said. These are the same people who supported Pat Buchanan. They probably support Ron Paul. Did they ever vote Republican, or are they just members of the “spoiler” party whoever that may be at the time. They live for defeat.

Gimme a break!

You need to suck it up and get over it. With supporters like this, no wonder the GOP is in trouble.
Sound like a bunch of crybabies.

That’s funny. Really funny.

Why does it hurt so much when I laugh?

Me too. With tears in my eyes, I just went outside and took my McCain sign out of the ground. and I feel extreme fear for this country. What in the hell was he thinking ? I have been praying for he and Sarah everyday. I have a McCain sign, bumper stickers, etc. And he just took away my hope. He just left Sarah and the rest of us out to dry. He just went along with the MSM stereotype that we are stupid hicks and racists. It hurts. After working so hard and praying so hard. This CUTS DEEP.

Buck up there young conservative from Ohio. Is McCain perfect? Far from it. Did you believe before today that Obama is the absolutely wrong person to lead this country and dangerous for the future? I think so based on prior posts, so get back in the saddle and make sure that Obama is not elected. If you feel that someone is capable of hurting your family as Obama is then stand up and fight even if a politician annoys you with a few words that were used on the fly when asked questions in a live town hall rally.

You are wrong...Fox News had some poll results out today that said that a pretty big percentage of people have said that the stuff about Ayers has made them not want to vote for Obama.

This isn’t about whether WE want to vote for McCain....McCain took the ballot out of our hands today, and tore it up.

I would not say something like that. But not everyone has the same filter I have. She very well could have been a plant. It would not be the first time.

I am taking it a day at a time. I can’t throw the towel in although sometimes I might be tempted. It just is not in my nature to give up until it is over.

I wish I saved the thread with this quote because it was made by a wise freeper. [paraphrased] “We have to win the election first and then start fixing the Republican Party.”

I never thought I would be casting a ballot for John McCain. In fact, I swore I would never do it. But he is the only candidate we have at this point. There is too much riding on this election.

I posted a quote from an article about Obama’s Harvard days. It is scary:

“.....Obama “clearly agreed with me at the time that a shift in constitutional thinking from a rights-based discourse to one that centered [on] responsibility and duties ... would be a good thing,” West told Politico. “Partly because of those conversations, I don’t find it surprising at all that Sen. Obama’s speeches are often marked by calls to spark a sense of responsibility, rather than a sense of grievance.”

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0608/11257.html

No matter how angry or discouraged we get, we cannot give up.

Again, “......a shift in constitutional thinking from a rights-based discourse to one that centered [on] responsibility and duties ....” That is the opposite of what this great nation was founded on.

These are the statements that need to be in the public domain.

“LOL......so Arabs aren’t decent family men? LOL....McCain can’t win for losing with that exchange.”

I don’t fault him for that reply, although there are a million better ways he could have responded. When I heard him say this, I thought of many just off the top of my head without even trying.

What is so troubling is the way he responded to the man pointing out what type of Supreme Court Justices Obama would appoint. McCain is not of the caliber to lead the Republican party. He will lead it right into the grave, if he hasn’t accomplished that already. I respect his service to our country but have NEVER liked him as a person. I’m sure I would have loved the younger, patriotic, principled, McCain not yet seduced by the Washington DC politics of power.

You are absolute correct.....McCain just endorsed Hussein as a good man.

Those who had any doubt about him, will now go with the young, hip, cool, exotic, black guy.

Just as the MSM has portrayed him.

McCain is such an arse.

If I were Gov Palin, I would phone it in from now on, and save herself and her dignity.

She can go back home and be in peace after this horrible experience.

Up until tonight.

John McCain had no stronger supporter in the USA than me. and I take this personal. We wanted to stand up and fight with him. We listened to him and looked up to him. We have been working our asses off to win this election. and then he throws us under the bus 25 days before the election ?

What did I do to deserve this ?

Actually, I believe the Palin rally where it occurred, was outdoors. I saw them talking about it Fox & Friends, caught the replay. You could hear it.

You used to really p*ss me off.
You don’t p*ss me off so much anymore- since McCain is not fighting to keep the Muzzie out of the White House. :)

I'll take that as a compliment.

You stay classy.

What? The elections over? Geez, I didn’t even get to vote... talk about disenfranchising voters!

Why should you worry, you just admitted he’s not YOUR candidate?

I don't want to dimish your real emotion and do understand it. In fact BEFORE McCain won the primary I was actually telling my Dad that it would be very hard to vote because I never cared much for the guy. Well here is my personal progression in this campaign:
