An earlier thread spoke of some disparaging comments overheard at a McCain/Palin rally from the media core that was covering it. Let's drive another nail into the coffin of the so-called "main stream media" and catch these comments on tape and present them here and on YouTube and lets name names, shall we?

Real journalism has been dead and buried for many years with the Old Gray Whore as it's tombstone. Let's resurrect it and bring freedom of the press to those who cannot afford to print their own newspaper.
I know I'm saying pretty much the same thing, but I expressed it in a more positive way.
Can you point me to that tread or tell me what was said?
Good idea... but people shouldn’t record and publicize these media scum without checking local laws first. In some places it is illegal to record someone without their consent. Even if it legal to record them, it might not be legal to post the recordings in public places. “Reporters” might not be considered public figures by the law, so don’t assume you’re protected.
For example, in New Hampshire, a quick read of Section 570-A:2 would make me reluctant to record a “reporter”:

In many places, law enforcement is run by liberals and they would take the side of the “reporter”/Democrat operative.
I think you give good advice, but what’s said in public surely isn’t considered the same as taping a private phone conversation? Think of the great hay that was made when someone recorded Fowler’s conversation in South Carolina.
Gee, I'd like to, but the local Rallys closed about 4 years ago.
It's not rallies is it?
I’m no lawyer, but read the statute at the link. It mentions “oral communications”. It doesn’t say they have to be electronic.
It will be different in every state, and some cities and towns have their own laws.
Anyone ever notice how many former Democratic press secretaries and speechwriters are working as TV newsmen and columnists?
Then there's Bill Moyers, who is about half of PBS's political journalism effort all by himself, who was press flack for LBJ.
Fine, then do "civil disobedience" and post the clip on the Net anyway. It'll go viral, the liberal LE's will never be able to suppress it, and you'll get your message out, even though it might cost you.
I like the way you put it better. Well done!
