It was absolutely the best speech he’s given. I was proud of him today.

Thanks for the feed. I lost this thread for a while but McCain made a point about himself being honest and if he did need advice on that subject he wouldn’t get it from a “Chicago Politician”. Ouch. That’s gotta hurt.

Obama spokesman on Live FOX TV five minutes JUST NOW after the end of the McCain speech in Wisconsin was VISIBLY SHAKEN and all freaked out. Very nervous. Said, "this is no solution to have these mob-like rallies" against Obama.

I swear the gal was about to lose it.

This is psy war at it's best. We have them "freaked". Lovin' it

I get the feeling that McCain is somewhat intimidated by The One,and he needs to overcome that, put his best foot forward and stand tall against NObama. If he does that, he’ll
rattle NObama and turn the tables on him, making him stutter and sputter. THEN it’s all over. That joke of a “town hall” last week was all about the Bomma....MCain can pound back at him and make this last debate count!

I agree that a lot of it is fluff, but then that's a sign of the times. Identity politics. Could be worse though. A lot of freepers used to tout Condi Rice for completely superficial reasons. That would have been a disaster.

My take on Sarah, for what it's worth, is that she seems very likable. She gives good speeches. Other than that, she's pretty much an unknown. Her record is quite parochial.

Geez, what is wrong with these people? It's a political campaign, for cripes' sake. I guess they just expect us to lie down and worship at the feet of their Annointed One.

I hope she's prepared to make a similar speech on Nov. 5th when Obama's followers are freaking out and rioting because The One lost.

McCain hasn’t forgotten those of us in blue states, that’s why. And it completely energizes us and presents a lot of free publicity on tv and newspapers. He knows what he’s doing.

I don’t think she is appearing anywhere today. Tomorrow she’ll be in Johnstown PA early in the day and later at night she’ll be in Philadelphia , dropping the first puck at a Flyers hockey game with the winner of a hockey mom contest. She is also going to do an ESPN interview with Sal Paolantonio. I’m not sure when that will air, but possibly on tomorrow nights ESPN sports center

No Sarah. I was at the rally. It was a nice turnout, but it would have had three times the audience with her there.

"mob-like rallies"

That is just the biggest amount of horsewill you'll ever hear. I was at the rally, and the whole demeanor of the crowd was excited but respectful. There were absolutely no shouts about killing anyone or any other garbage. I have to believe the media is making up these "Republican mob" stories.

He said that about Hillary too. Did I mention McCain was not my first choice? ...nor the second....nor the third.
