In an interview with conservative Philadelphia radio talk show host Michael Smerconish today, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., said his relationship with William Ayers is being questioned and his middle name is being invoked at events for Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin to distract voters from the economy.

"This is a red herring," Obama said of the Ayers story," because people don't want to talk about the fact that economy over the last eight years has been mismanaged to the point that we're teetering on a really, really bad situation.
Smerconish asked about the myriad Republicans at McCain-Palin events this week who referred to "Barack Hussein Obama."
"I don't think there's any secret about this," Obama said. "My father was from Kenya so I've got an Arab-sounding name, and I think most people know that I was raised by my mom who was from Kansas, which is why I've got a Kansas-sounding accent…When people are purposely doing this in connection with a theme the McCain campaign's decided they want to pursue in the past few weeks, which is to go after me personally, in some pretty aggressive ways, then, you know they're trying to distract from the economy."
Smerconish is no conservative. He is like David Brooks and Tucker Carlson. What does it matter if Ayres is rehabilitated. Terrorists are like pedophiles. They can never/should never be trusted again? Obama needs to be hammered on this.

Rehabilitated? That sounds like a word a true Marxist would use. Rehabilitated is what happens after you have served your sentence in a re-education camp. Rehabilitated-reinstated into the Communist Party in good standing long after you were shot.

Smerconish himself would disagree with the conservative moniker. He has stated that he is a registered republican and has expressed many liberal viewpoints on the air. His main attraction to the magical one is, oddly enough, foreign policy.
Also, his wife is a fund raiser for obama, so it’s no small wonder that he got an interview.

He tries to make it sound as if an accent is hereditary. Of course he means she talked with an accent around him but I'm sure many Kansans would be surprised to know that his accent mirrors theirs.
I’ve never known ANYONE ever that sounded like the sniveling Obama. His inflections, tones, awkward pauses in the wrong places, jerky manner of speaker in fits and starts. He has very weird vocal mannerisms.
And “I thought he was rehabilitated” is the lamest excuse I’ve ever heard in my life. I guess “He’s not the Bill Ayers I knew” isn’t going to cut it in this case.
Do you know that yesterday when Obama was in Indianapolis and talking about Evan Bayh and his dad Birch, Obama said, “the acorn doesn’t fall far from the tree”? Sounded like a shout out to me. Or, maybe that’s just a phrase they use in Kansas or sumpin. ;)
If true (and I don't believe it for a minute) then Hussien Obama is too STUPID for the White House. He's either a liar or an idiot... maybe both.
