There are 27 days left for you to make a difference in the 2008 political season.
What you are doing in a POSITIVE way to help elect McCain/Palin and Republicans and defeat Obama/Biden and the Democrats?
Please note that the following actions do not count:
1.) Seagulling on a thread highlighting positive developments.
2.) Offering the McCain campaign advice on what they should be doing (unless you're a paid political consultant with years of experience, that is).
3.) Thinking you're funny by saying, "I did nothing." The prospect of Barack Obama as president of the U.S.A. is not funny.
There are many positive, meaningful things we can and should be doing to help achieve victory. Much of this involves volunteering for the campaign and getting out into your community with the truth about Obama and his abysmal record, inexperience, and shady associates.
The media won't do it, so it's up to us. Are you up to the challenge?
If so, sound off on this thread!

We have nothing to offer The Sheep but the truth. The Left gives them bread and circuses. Who wins?
Sir, with all due respect, that is an indictment of republicanism (small "r") in general. I do not believe that the Truth is an unattractive choice when compared with bread and circuses. In fact, I believe we are at the tail-end of the "bread and circus" zeitgeist that began after WWII.
What's needed on our side is courage and perseverance in telling the truth. And if we don't get that from our political leaders, it's up to us to do it.

Thanks for the compliment. I appreciate that!
Robby, I think putting a bumper sticker on is a big deal. Lots of folks won’t do it.

“They know things we're not privy to.”
Fair enough.
Though it is often difficult to trust that thought when a person is as far down on the totem pole as I.

Sarah Palin does more in one hour to advance conservative causes than you'll do in an entire election year.
You are one of the laziest people on this forum (when you're not storming off with a huffy opus).

Since when did FR become populated with such losers? I've been here for nearly 10 years--it never used to be like this. Since Clown Posse went under.

We can do this! We have to do this, otherwise so-long free markets and freedom. hello socialism. "Good heavens, you're a machine!" Grab the rope and tug! my new slogan: it's tug-o-war, not a rodeo. Do the voter2voter phone bank too - it's awesome.

Well done! I stopped by the local HQ yesterday, and there had been a rush on signs, so they were out. Just got back from a walk through the neighborhood (a very 50/50 neighborhood in voting patterns) and saw two more McCain/Palin signs that weren’t up yesterday. I’m jealous! :-)

Tonight I bought a McCain-Palin yard sign and tomorrow morning it’s going up where all my neighbors will see it!

I glared at several different people carrying Obama/Biden signs. Just my luck to work in the same building as the Davidson County TN Democratic Women. Sheesh.
To: Antoninus
Then take a trip down to your local McCain campaign headquarters and volunteer. I guarantee you'll start feeling better quickly. That's the key. Which is why I have so little patience anymore for the perpetually pessimistic putzes. 95% of them couldn't find a local GOP HQ on a map.

I'm waging a one-Ridgerunner "knife-fight-in-a-telephone-booth" campaign against local Rat kool-aid drinkers on the local news rag's online forum. Some real crazies there, but I'm well trained via FR though. ;)

Post to the writer at that newspaper forum:
Should we copy what Jews in Germany did in the 1930's?
How did that work out?
