HARTFORD, Conn. - The State Elections Enforcement Commission is looking into a complaint alleging that a community advocacy group submitted fraudulent voter registration cards in Bridgeport.
Joseph Borges, Bridgeport's Republican registrar of voters, filed the complaint. He said he has found problems with numerous voter registration cards submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, or ACORN, which works to register low-income people.
In one instance, he says a card was filled out for a 7-year-old girl, whose age was listed as 27 on the card.
ACORN filed more than 8,000 cards in Bridgeport. The complaint involves 10, but Borges said there were problems with many others.
The group, which said it has registered some 1.3 million voters nationwide this year, is facing similar allegations in several other states including Nevada, Wisconsin, North Carolina, New Mexico, Michigan, Ohio and Missouri.

I believe the level and wide spread nature of the blatant fraud in this election, more blatant than ever before IMHO, is an indication of weakness within, of a knowledge that they are, in fact, in trouble.
I live in Ventura county (Simi Valley to be exact). They ask for your Street and Name. That’s it.

Here in Nevada:
NEW voters that were “registered” this year, 2008:
Republicans=about 3200 new registrations.
Democrats= almost 80,000 new registrations.
Does anyone really believe a 20-1 ratio of new residents in Nevada are Democrats?
It is no wonder that the Sec of State has raided ACORN offices in Las Vegas, and is looking hard at their submissions.

ACORN dumps so many new registration cards into the County Clerk all at once that unless there are lots of Volunteers who are trustworthy, they cannot check them all fast enough.
ACORN is counting on that flood being overwhelming.

If this were a Republican group committing frauds, they would declare every registration turned in by the group void. As it is, since it largely deals with minority registrations, most of them, even very questionable ones, they will let stand.
Double standard? Yes of course, absolutely. We’re getting used to it. And that’s what they’re counting on.
I lived in Contra Costa County and they did require an ID and all of the address, record search for your name and addy and then the sign in.
Maybe they changed the rules since I left - or things are more relaxed in So. CA.

I called and emailed my congressman and both my senators today, in a rage over the Obama - ACORN - Ayers connection and begged them get all the conservatives in congress together for a coordinated attack and investigation. They are getting plenty of calls, but I’m urging everyone to pump up the volume with your reps. Here’s what I wrote;

We implore our congressional representatives to drop whatever they are doing to the extent possible and get out in front of the ACORN - Obama - Ayers issue.
The Marxists on the Left have been working with the Democrats for decades, actively disenfranchising the voters of your district.
These Obama activists register felons, illegal’s, dead people, dogs, cats - whatever they can and cast illegal votes.
THIS PROBLEM HAS GONE ON LONG ENOUGH!
We can no longer afford to ignore it. Obama ACORN operatives could be doing this to you in your very district, or the district of another precious conservative seat at this very moment!
