WAUKESHA, Wis. - John McCain told audiences in two different Wisconsin communities Thursday that he must carry the state in November and he will.
Down in the polls, both nationally and in Wisconsin, McCain is running out of time to convince voters to chose him over Democrat Barack Obama. McCain promised to go after Obama in their final debate next week.

Regardless, it’s still Palin/Jindal in 2012.
One September 11, 2001, radical islamists tried to destroy the financial structure of this country and the world in their attack on the World Trade Center. They failed in their attempt.
However, what the Terrorists failed to do, Congressional Democrats have done. It was the irresponsible lending practices forced upon the mortgage instutions by the Democrats that have now caused global catastrophy.
I have written this in haste and no doubt some of the wording could be fine tuned, but you all get the main point, I'm sure.
What’s the rush?
John McCain has a chance to be set in history as the man who lead the nation in the fight to perserve our freedom and prevent the socialist takeover here in America.
If he fails and O is elected I think there will be civil unrest on a large scale.
He has run like some kind of funky hybrid of Bush41's second campaign and Bob Dole's only campaign. And that ain't good.
It should be obvious now that our country is in real danger of being handed over to a radical socialist and his radical friends. We conservatives cannot sit back any longer like frogs in a slowly heating pot of water, my FRiends. We must act. We must take back the infostructure (education and media) that has been slyly co-opted by the far left over the past 40 years. It's time to light up switchboards and inboxes, but it's also time for more demanding action. Many of our losses took place in court, and that's where we must now take our fight IMHO.
Parents should start suing school districts who indoctrinate our children.
Shareholders should start suing the public corporations who breach their responsibility to maximize shareholder value by intentionally and continually insulting half their potential customer base.
And I'm wondering if we in the general public can bring some kind of action against the MSM companies; they all enjoy the lucrative use of public airwaves, airwaves that belong to you and me, not just to the liberals whose message is the only one heard. Heck, not only do they get the use of the airwaves, the government even dictates which stations we MUST watch. If these companies enjoy these monopolies, it's high time we demand that they serve all of us.
I'd love to hear the thoughts of any attorneys on these issues. I'm just brainstorming, but I truly believe we have come to a critical, desperate juncture, one that demands action, not just sitting back and taking it until the USA is completely unrecognizable.

I have a gut feeling that the tide is beginning to change. There is currently alot of noise out there on Obama’s associations, which I think will crystalize.
Redundant - two hunters...
I certainly hope so. Of course, we thought this was going to happen in the last debate and were disappointed.
The entire country hangs on McCains next performance.
The problem is that we, the base, never should have let this fool win the nomination.
Obviously (to me) Thompson was only there as a favor to McCain to, originally, thwart Romney but it turned out he didn’t need him since Huckabee ended up doing the job but only too well. I have stood up for the so-called evangelical through years of smears by the left but I now think they are a problem in that we couldn’t get a solid conservative that could win (maybe Thompson did want it?) nominated. They only wanted Huckabee because he’s a “preacher”.
McCain is showing the problem in running a Senator that has been around since the big bang: too much bipartisan crap, compromising garbage, etc. to stand one way or another on issues.
So when he now, late in the game, starts “getting tough” no one believes it. I heard him today going after voter fraud and ACORN. The problem? As with almost any issue one has to ask, “gee Senator, you’ve been there for decades. Why didn’t you do something about explicit voter fraud before?” Answer: don’t want to be called a racist by his left wing buddies in DC.
Pitiful. Especially since if he wins and it’s close the Obama people are going to make the 2000 election aftermath look like a backyard picnic. They are talking riots again because you know they’ll scream disenfranchisment, etc.
If Palin had more experience and national exposure as governor then right now she’d be able to bring the Reagan coalition back in force and, this time, throw out the RINO’s (keep them out of the loop on everything and actually get someone to run against them in primaries - to hell with party unity) and keep the conservatives in line and able to EXPLAIN the issues.
Conservatives are AWFUL at doing this because they always start with the left wing’s point and end up Dem-lite.
This is why we are where we are today.
I knew you boys would miss the ACORN story! ;)
We have a better chance of seeing the DOW hit 9,000 tomorrow.
The problem is that McCain helped the socialist get us here.
Someone at NY Post made this comment.
What a riot! The title is NUTS while the picture of this Domino's guy (Christopher Barkley) has a hold of "his" ACORNS! Whah ha ha ha!! C'mon people laugh! Hey, the world's going down on greased rails so what else can we do?
IF you're going to do this
Do it without emotion or that ridiculous Beefus and Butthead chuckle.
List bad things in groups of 3.
Keep it simple.
Give the listener "meat" to really chew on.
Make whatever you choose to say be easily repeatable by the masses.
DO NOT LOOK ANGRY - THIS IS WHAT THEY WANT - THEN THEY CAN PIN THE TEMPERMENT THING AROUND YOUR NECK.
BE COOL, CALM, & CALCULATED
This time he is really going to go for the throat and attack Obama on Earmarks and not being bipartisan enough with a slight smirk instead of a smile.
Obama must be quaking in his boots.
Yes, I am discouraged. McCain’s response to Angry Man proves he still doesn’t get it.
Now I know we’re screwed.
Saving the best for last. I compare McCain to Claudius the Roman Emperor - looked on by his opponents as old and feeble but he was a tough survivor. As for the empty suit, his comparable is Caligula./Just Asking - seoul62......
If ZerObama is elected, I guarantee the rise in unemployment will cause our economy to go from a scary tinderbox waiting to explode into a wild fire. Obama has no clue how to make Marxism work. That is because Marxism is a dead corpse. There will be no Obama magic that will get Marxism running on the level of Capitalism. It will be a complete disaster that will be felt world wide. I think the Earth will begin to wobble from the impact.
