WAUKESHA, Wis. - John McCain told audiences in two different Wisconsin communities Thursday that he must carry the state in November and he will.
Down in the polls, both nationally and in Wisconsin, McCain is running out of time to convince voters to chose him over Democrat Barack Obama. McCain promised to go after Obama in their final debate next week.

3rd time is the charm?
He better. I wrote and said I felt my donation to him was being wasted.
I’m hoping that he gets it in gear tomorrow, here in Minnesota...
He’d better or it’s Palin/Jindal 2012.
Only 3 weeks left until election day after the last debate. McCain better refute/rebut as many lies that comes from Obama as he can.
Now, where have I heard that before?
You know the msm will have there “he was angry and erratic” talking points ready.
Hunter/Palin 2012.
He should have been doing it all along.
So he just might make passing references to the problems as much as twice?
Dare I hope for three times?
Well, when you agree with Obama 1/2 of the time, it’s hard.
Thank the good Lord for this. I spent half of yesterday answering good Repubs who were very upset about the the failure to attack in debate number two. Fortunately, I was able to recruit two volunteers out of it and hold the hands of the rest of the callers. But I really hate to waste my volunteer hours to reassure the base.
For crying out loud.
DO NOT WAIT, do it now, do it every day, be relentless and make damn sure that you spoon-feed America on how you’re going to deal with the financial crisis. Drill, build, then drill and build some more.
McCain, you’re not just running for president anymore, YOU have to save our country.
What are you hearing?
I hope McCain connects the dots:
1) 911 was a “game-changer” for the Bush Administration.
2) The WOT became the republicans top issue.
3) Democrats voted to withdraw war funding numerous times, but compromised with the administration to keep their pet projects.
4) Republicans introduced Energy Reform, Mortgage Reform, and Social Security Reform legislation which was held hostage and ultimately blocked by threats to cut off the WOT funds the Administration so desperately needed.
5) Bottom line: There is a direct connection between the economic crisis we face today and democrat political strategty. Republicans compromised important legislation to win a war, democrats benefited by letting Freddy and Fanny make undocumented loans to deadbeat democrats.
6) Today’s economic crisis is NOTHING compared to the Social Security Trainwreck in a few more years.
Only problem now is that they bored so many people to tears in the first 2 debates that nobody will tune in to hear what either candidate has to say in the third one.
Didn’t he go after Obama in Tuesday’s debate? I mean, wasn’t Obama given the first chance to answer the first question?
