John Stewart made clear which candidate hes supporting Tuesday night at the Project ALS benefit at the Waldorf-Astoria. The Daily Show star responded to host Ben Stillers comments that he cant choose sides due to his position on television saying, Oh, I think its pretty clear. Neither of them is perfect, but if you, out of nowhere, are going to grab a woman out of the woods and make her your vice presidential candidate, what can I do?
[Sarah Palin] is like Jodie Foster in the movie Nell, Stewart continued. They just found her, and she was speaking her own special language.
Have you noticed how [Palin's] rallies have begun to take on the characteristics of the last days of the Weimar Republic? In Florida, she asked Who is Barack Obama? Hey, lady, we just met YOU five f-ing weeks ago.
All money raised from the event went towards research into amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, a degenerative neurological disease.
I used to actually think that guy was funny.
What kind of ratings does Stewart get?
Speak for yourself, assclown. I first heard of her back in August 2006.
Methinks Stewart would last all of 2 days in Alaska.
America needs more people like the Palin’s and less people like Stewart.
He does a “news” show and he never heard of the most popular governor in all of the USA?
Speaks volumes about him I think.
Stewart who?
Which really shows just how out of touch the media is. Gov. Palin is, and has been, the most popular Politician in America for the last 2 years.
She has been featured in many National magazines and the subject of several Nationally televised interviews PRIOR to being picked by McCain.
So, take your head out of your azz, and quit acting like a sock puppet for the DNC. You are making yourselves look more stupid with every comment you make. And here I thought that was impossible.
Sean Penn would probably still make a film about it.

FAIRBANKS, Alaska The debut of “Into the Wild,” a movie directed by Sean Penn about a 24-year-old young man who starved to death in Alaska wilderness, drew a packed house at a venue outside Fairbanks.
BTW whats with the Wiemar Republic reference? Is this guy THAT stupid?
Jon Stewart is like Charly in the movie of the same name.....
On the common neoliberal path, like Maher. They know they're not worth the wealth and fame they've received, and the cognitive dissonance causes deep problems, resulting in the spewing of hatred at those that earn their success.
I’ve NEVER thought this guy was funny. He has a false confidence about him.
This guy has been propped up for years. Why he’s ever had anything remotely close to a career is beyond me....oh wait he’s a lib.
Jon's been a little hard of hearing lately...
Shoot. I’d tire iron his smart mouth the entire length of Eastern Pkwy! Just for shiits and giggles.
WE have known about Gov Palin for years.
It is his precious MSM who have refused to cover an up and coming female Republican Gov who was kissing arse, and had a approval rating in the 80’s.
Stupid fool....he is vacuous...like most liberals, history begins when they wake up each morning.
We Americans call that "English," fella, although if you mentioned that to an English person, she would crack up. (I know, because my sister-in-law did.)
I understand you people in Bizarro World have trouble with English. Have you considered a good immersion-style software program?
Is he Patrick Stewart’s son?
