This morning, Philadelphia attorney Philip Berg filed a response in opposition to the motion for protective order, a measure intended to stay discovery until after the judge rules on a defense motion to dismiss, filed by Barack Obama and the DNC on Monday.
In the response Berg insists, among other things, that he is not seeking the documents specified in his motion for expedited discovery for any improper purpose, that the information requested through discovery is of extreme importance and a matter of public safety, and argues that Barack Obama and the DNC

The Constitution, and the law, only restrict the Presidency to natural born citizens. Naturalized citizens can be Congressmen, Senators, Governators, etc.
What happened to the motion to dismiss? Still in limbo?
To me, that is the most telling argument. Obama has himself written that he has seen his original birth certificate.
It has to do with following the Constitution in showing that you are a natural born citizen. There should be no problem producing the documentation if he was.
Meanwhile he is tying up the court system with all these motions. I think this is fodder for McCain to use.

That’s been my guess from day one. But it still doesn’t explain why Hillary didn’t use it. “Embarrassing” would have helped her, too.
I think the COLB will show his middle name is Muhammad, not Hussein.

Here is the difference:
To stand for election as Senator:
No person shall be a Senator who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty Years, and been nine Years a Citizen of the United States, and who shall not, when elected, be an Inhabitant of that State for which he shall be chosen.
To stand for election as President:
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.
A naturalized citizen, ie., one who was not born a U.S. citizen but has since obtained citizenship, may run for the Senate, so long as he is not younger than 30 and does live within the state he wishes to represent. (Same for Representative, but for age, 25, and years of citizenship, seven). Not so for the presidency, one must be BORN a U.S. citizen, not naturalized via citizenship process.

From my understanding Berg is a Clinton supporter. Don’t think Hillary could get any traction on the story either. Bill has even questioned Obama’s Constitutional qualifications before.

Hillary can’t take on the DNC who so love the Obama one. If she did it would be over for her! This Berg happens to be a Hillary backer and I think there is more behind the scenes.
Thanks for the reply. So it seems that if Obama got Indonesian citizenship when adopted by his step father, it would not be a problem in his Senate position if he became a naturalized US citizen when he was sent to live with his grandparents.
I wonder what the issues would be if he were a natural born US citizen, became an Indonesian citizen upon his adoption, then became a naturalized citizen upon coming back to the USA?
Today I read that anyone can get a COLB from Hawaii for their kids if they were a resident of the state at any time whether their kid was born there or not. So presenting a valid COLB on Obama’s part would not be enough, it has to be the long form. And even then there’s the Indonesian question. As everyone else is asking, where is the msm? What a one-sided joke they are.
The story Berg is leanign on seems to be that Obama’s mother was 18, and 9 mo pregnant when she accompanied his father to Kenya. When they went to get on plane, she was denied due to ready to deliver...she got on plane right after delivery and went to Hawaii...filed birth certificate.
There is a birth certificate in Kenya same DB, and Obama family members claim he was born in Kenya..that’s the debate of forgery..
The “forged” Birth Certificate, on bottom has a file date of 4 days later than birthday. That means Obama is concerned about something...maybe a paper filled out at time and on file in courthouse of county his mother said he was born in,,,,who knows..if it’s legit or not...but if he was born in Hawaii..WHY NOT JUST GIVE THEM A CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE FROM THE REGISTRAR OF DEEDS OR COUNTY CLERK IN THAT DISTRICT???
I’m wonderin’ what the ‘bona fides’ were that Obama used to prove his (at least) nine year citizenship in order to get into the US Senate.......or maybe he was just taken at his word and no one checked.
