Obama's supporters scare me. Here is a comment I just read from this story (the story that Dean Reynolds of CBS wrote about Obama's "stinky" plane etc):

I don’t seriously think a President Obama would go that far and besides thanks to the 2nd amendment we still have an armed populous. However, one of the first orders of business for an Obama administration and a democrat controlled Congress will be to pass the “fairness doctrine” and extend it to Internet bloggers and sites like FR. While the bloggers and presumably FR could get around this by having their sites hosted on servers outside the US, conservative talk radio and Fox News would be emasculated. Also watch for federal hate speech legislation to be introduced in Congress to further muzzle conservative expression.

Oh not long at all. Just look around the top Obama site DailyKosmunist and other top Obama supporter sites and you will see the people in the Obama campaign who are the people Obama will put into the goverment.

That has been around for a while — school quetionaires about whether your parents own guns, if you go to church, if you get spanked, etc., abound in California. My kids pediatrician asked me when my daughter was less than 1 year old if I kept a gun in the home. I asked him what business it was to him. His answer was that kids are more likely to die in an accidental shooting in homes where guns were present and “he had an ethical obligation to evaluate every factor in determining the health and safety of one of his patients”.
When I said that sounds a like he was trying to determine if we met his standards for prenting and that if we did not, he would be a good little nazi and report us to CPS, he squirmed a lot and finally stated, “only in extereme cases and if I was convinced that my patient was being abused or in a dangerous environment”. I told him that if I did have the means to satisfy one of my basic rights as a human being (self defense), that was none of his f-—ing business (yes I did drop an F’bomb) and I would find another doctor for my kid that was’nt some quiche eating little brownshirt fag busybody. Exact quote.

It hasn't been that long ago that brainwashed kids went on a rampage in their own country, brutalizing anyone they regarded as ideologically impure. They would even denounce and arrest their own parents. It was the Cultural Revolution that occurred in China in the 70's. Very little seems to be said about it for some reason. There are relatively few books or documentaries, and no films, but it was a very nasty event. Heavily indoctrinated children can literally become a kind of Gestapo. It's happened more than once.
