Of Ayers [but Ayers knows Obama. Now we know the game in play]

Much has been said about Barack Obama’s association with William Ayers, a certified terrorist who in the 1960’s sought to blow up offices and employees of the U.S. government. Most speculation has been about Obama and his views on Ayers.

Obama claims he knew nothing about Ayers unsavory past despite having sat on boards of directors together and Ayers having made his own living room available to launch Obama’s initial campaign into politics. It is conceivable (though barely) that Obama was ignorant of Ayers’ violent past and revolutionary disgust for the U.S. Obama’s assertion is greatly diminished by the fact that there are no strangers in Chicago politics. Everyone advances through connections. A Chicago candidate doesn’t stand a Chinaman’s Chance of winning an office without connections.

What pundits and politicos have failed to articulate is that it is Ayers’ view of Obama that is important. Ayers gave his time, money and home to insert Obama into the political mainstream. Ayers wanted Obama to succeed. This says much about Obama because Ayers would not risk his Chicago political credibility on someone that wasn’t going to push Ayers’ agenda.

Ayers hates America, tried to violently overthrow it, and from all reports has not materially changed his attitude in 40 years. This means Ayers’ believes Obama will help achieve what Ayers and the Weathermen were unable to do with explosives.

Obama might not know Ayers … but Ayers knows Obama. Now we know the game in play.

So that is one thing we can agree on - Ayers sees Obama as a tool, and so do I!

What did William Ayers know and write about Obama in his book?

Below is the book William Ayers wrote
A Kind and Just Parent: The Children of Juvenile Court

By William Ayers Published by Beacon Press, 1998 224 pages ISBN 0807044032, 9780807044032

Page 81 We live in Hyde Park-Kenwood south of the Loop on the lake. In a tree across the street I see two green parrots, mutant urban birds descended from escaped ...

Page 82 Our neighbors include Muhammad Ali, former mayor Eugene Sawyer, poets Gwendolyn Brooks and Elizabeth Alexander, and writer Barack Obama.

Minister Louis Farrakhan lives a block from our home and adds, we think, a unique dimension to the idea of “safe neighborhood watch”; the Fruit of Islam, his security force, has an eye on things twenty-four-hours a day. I pass Farrakhan’s mansion, offer a cheery wave to the Fruit, get a formal nod in response, and turn north two blocks across 47th Street, into the lap of urban blight.

Ayers had to know Obama at a very close level to mention him in his book along with Muhammad Ali and Louis Farrakhan.

The book came out in 1998. It takes about 2-3 years to write and publish a book, so this friendship can be placed going back to at least 1995.

The evidence comes straight from William Ayers.

It’s OK, because even if BO knew, Ayers was a harmless, INCOMPETENT terrorist who didn’t actually kill anyone directly. Or something like that. . .

As Rush put it.

What do Osama Bin Laden and Barack Obama have in common?

They are both pals with Pentagon bombers...

These next four weeks are going to be quite difficult for Obama.  The media is beginning to catch on to a number of different issues.

Look out, if they actually go to work on him.  And there's no doubt that some of them will.

The timing is perfect for this guy to be taken out politically.

So are we to think if some terrorist thinks Sarah is a hot babe that she should not be trusted or believed because who knows what that terrorist is thinking about her ? You are out of credible evidence here and it’s getting ridiculous now. As an 8 year old, I am sure Obama had war games with toy trucks at that stage and to link him with a 60s radical is too much. As a Veteran, I gave three years of my life only to see my President blown away (now the technology shows the Warren Com. report was BS, there were 5 shots fired at Kennedy, not 3. So our nation was at war with “who knows who” and most poeple who were not part of the BS looked for ways to solve it.

I have no idea what went down back then, but to try to link Obama to this person now is totally out of context. What did your Ollie North do besides lie to the Congress ? does that mean anyone who knows him now is guilty of anything that he was thinking ? McCain will only give us 4 more years of the same mess we are trying to climb out of now. This is starting to look like McCarthy hearings and instead of the word “Communist”, you are substituting the word “terrorist”. I am not approving anyone’s conduct but back in the 60s to oppose government corruption was considered the “patriotic” thing to do, and any attempt to examine one’s behavior NOW is taking it all out of context. No matter what color or religion we are, we’re all Americans with the freedom to act as we see fit.

I think you accidentally logged onto the wrong board. We happen to think that associations with extremists and terrorists goes a long way towards to establishing a person’s own world view. Especially, since it seems to have been an endless parade of radicals and hardly anyone else.

No one has linked Obama at 8 years old to Ayers, he is linked in Chicago as an adult to Ayers. You are seriously out of touch.

Correct., and we see fit to act in connecting the dots between Ayers and Obama from the mid 90's up to and including today, not in the 60's. On the other hand you are free to turn a blind eye to that connection.

BTW, Obama will completly shut down your mine, along with your mind. Good luck bucko.

You really are a dysfunctional thinking boob! You remind me of that Mark Twain saying how “when the simple man stumbles into the truth and falls down, he picks himself back up and keeps going as if nothing happened.”

In connecting the dots, are we to expect Abbie Hoffman and the rest of the Chicago Five to be named to this “terrorist” cabinet ? Oh Abbie is not alive but I guess that doesn’t matter to you, it’s guilt by association right ? You guys are down to Sean Hannity to be able to “preach to the choir”. it’s an 11 point lead in the polls and McSame is fading fast.

Look around you, your neighbors are losing their homes and jobs, their is no credit to make payrolls, the whole country is in danger and you are down to this. As I said in my previous post, to rebell against Washington in the 60s after it was apparent the gov’t was involved in the assasination of our President was considered PATRIOTIC. Different people did it in their own ways, I don’t know what the Weather Underground was doing and I don’t condone it. As a Vietnam Era Veteran, I was serving overseas but understood anybody’s right to oppose that war. As I stated before, Ollie North LIED to Congress, does that mean anyone who knows him is a terrorist and if he thinks about you, then maybe you should be put away for what HE is thinking. It sounds stupid doesn’t it ? well listen to yourself now, it’s no different.

Bucko ? that’s cute, name calling seems to be how you deal with things. FYI the Clinton admin shut down my business and the Bush admin. would not do a thing about it.

Speaking of Ayers, how is it that students enrolled at the university where he works are not in fear for their lives?

If I’m not mistaken, Ayers has said that he might commit terrorism again.

“Look around you, your neighbors are losing their homes and jobs, their is no credit to make payrolls, the whole country is in danger and you are down to this.”

In essence, your point here is; “if Obama gets elected, all of this will magically stop.”

I for one do not connect the dots on that line of reasoning.

Obama lacks the kind of experience necessary to turn those things you mentioned around…electing him President is not the right solution to this problem…that, “my friend, is what this is down to.” IMO...
