Ping!
Cool!
These folks seem to be mining the last remnants of an ancient, almost completely eroded mountain range, rich in gold deposits, that originally extended from Mexico into Canada and which was uplifted/replaced by the Sierras and Cascade Mountain ranges.
All the placer mining in California was gold from this ancient and almost completely eroded away range.
Occasionally fine flakes of gold appear in the beach sand near Gold Beach, Oregon. After storms one can find fine gold and platinum flakes here and there on the beach. These are the eroded precious metal deposits from that ancient mountain range.
How much did the radical Marxist’s add to the destruction of our fine Capitalistic Society...
Is this a heap-leach operation ? I can see why they’d be concerned about water pollution.
Cool. Thanks for the ping!
