Kenyan authorities detained Jerome Corsi today prior to a scheduled news conference because the WND senior staff reporter was about to discuss findings that implicate Prime Minister Raila Odinga and Sen. Barack Obama, according to the local publicist who arranged the press event.
Peter Mbae of Eagle Communications in Nairobi told WND he conferred privately with five or six of the Ministry of Immigration officers who arrived at the Grand Regency Hotel in the Kenyan capital to take Corsi and his media coordinator, Tim Bueler, into custody just as the news conference was to begin.
"The government is not keen on this matter, because it would be supporting a smear campaign against Obama," Mbae said, summing up his conversation with the officers.
"Jerry was implicating the prime minister," Mbae continued, "and I think the government felt it would be too much to do a press conference on Kenyan soil."

There’s nothing to stop Corsi from detailing his research here on American soil. At least not yet. He’s going to be on Fox News tomorrow morning, in fact.
Isn’t 0bama’s cousin the Dictator there? Hussein just placed a call to his “couz” and any proof of his birth in Kenya was taken care of.
Just read in the paper this morning of the huge number of people who have already cast their ballots. They may regret it yet.

And then there’s his relative Raila Odinga, who may not have been a terrorist when Obama campaigned for him in Kenya on a taxpayer funded trip, but sure as heck became one when he lost the Kenyan presidency and unleashed near-genocidal violence against members of tribes that had supported the winner. Communists and muslims in Kenya did NOT want Corsi to uncover anything that would expose Obama as the POS I know he is.
As a devil's advocate here, it may come as news to a lot of Americans, but Kenya is NOT a state or territory of the United States. It is a foreign, sovereign country w/its own immigration rules. He was on foreign soil. If he was in violation of the terms of his visa, then it is HE who screwed up.
OTOH, if he had prior clearance to come in though, and do the press conference and sell his books, and on a business visa--and those were clear to Kenyan immigration when they came through CIQ at the airport, and the Kenyans reversed themselves after he had already gotten there and to the hotel for the conference, then it would show something suspicious and fishy on the Kenyan govt part, maybe even traceable back to Obama. However, tread carefully on this one, we should get the facts first folks.

Nobody would’ve ever heard about this without the arrest by by the Kenyan Communists.

Well, write to the McCain campaign about it, and encourage other FReepers to as well.
A major point about Ayers is that he is not an isolated incident. I happen to work very closely with an old member of the ‘60’s Hyde Park ‘New Left’. My colleague happens to be repented, so that he is the only other conservative in my department besides some folks who grew up under Communism.
It probably is hard to work in academe or the foundation world without brushing shoulders with old ‘60’s radicals. (Of course, most of them wouldn’t be actual founders of a terrorist organization.) Even if one felt inclined to give Obama a pass on working with Ayers on those grounds, he can’t be let off for deliberately trying to hide the depth of his associations with Ayers.
But it’s not just Ayers: Ayers and Dohrn, the “’60’s” radicals (we all know the cultural ‘60’s lasted until about 1973); Khalidi, the PLO operative; and Odinga, the merderous Kenyan Communist/Islamist-ally. That’s at least four terrorists Obama ‘pals around with’.
