PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08
Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3
While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

Holy Smackers! McCain may have just blown it with saying we’re gonna buy up every bad or underwater mortgage out there and make sure everyone stays in their home.
And ah, jeez, he just followed up with suggesting Warren Buffet! Ay ay ay!
To: Saint Reagan
McCain also didn’t say argue that he didn’t cause the problem.

"I know how to get America working". Good answer. McPain a little shaky. He will calm down, he always does.
Obama avoided the first question on Treasure Secretary.
Go get him McPain. Again, he won't answer.

Actually, pulling Buffett out of the bag as a choice was really smart - he made Obama agree with him RIGHT OFF the BAT!

McCain is going to the person who asked the questions and talking to them. VERY smart move. I don't think there are many politicians better at the Town Hall format than John McCain.
