PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08
Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3
While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

God bless McCain, may he be given the exact right words to say convince the American people that he is truly the best choice. And, Dear Lord, please help him to take off the gloves!

I can’t watch either because it’s terrible. Obamarama already going to his used-up catchphrase “failed policies of last 8 years”. ZZZzzzz

McCain right off the bat with energy independence. Good choice. Stop the spending spree in DC. Talking of reform pkg, “doing something” about home values. As prez, he will order Sec of Treasury to buy home loan mortgages and renegotiate the value of homes.

Sounds like O memorized his first answer. No matter the question, he was ready with an answer to an economy question. He was ready — word for word. (like rote)
