While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I was hoping to see a much more vigorous debate . It was very low key audience was like zombies represented Brokow I guess , I wish the guy from saddleback forum had been there to ask the questions. Mccain was awesome and made Obama look like a kid. It sure wasnt the townhall forums i saw mccain do. He takes a lot of hard ball questions at those and gets into debates with the crowd
That was a key part of the debate. People were left wondering who was telling the truth. McCain gave out a conservative estimate that half of small business revenue would take a hit. BO turned around and said, if I recall, that most small businesses earn less than that. For all I know, both stats are true. But the more successful of the small businesses undoubtedly hire more than the less successful ones.

Good for McCain, but he might want to start repeating web addresses more. It didn’t stick with me, at least.

John McCain is who he is...a man who has dedicated his entire life to his country, has a conservative record...and he has wisdom.
What comes with John is a conservative court and hopefully a sane congress with a majority of Republicans.
Go back and think...4 members of the supreme court said you didn't have the right to bear arms.

One thing last night that really upset me was when McCain called for buying up bad mortgages. I didn't get that one at all.
If he had made it more clear, like they just did on Fox & Friends a few minutes ago, that he meant to use part of the 700 billion already allocated and not new money it would have made a lot more sense to me.
Of course I still don't like the govt. in all this Free enterprise stuff but I guess it's a bit late for that complaint.
Brokaw made sure it was boring. He, and his liberal cronies, wanted to make sure the current dynamic of the race did not change because of a debate question that might actually tell us something worrisome (in Obama’s case) or reassuring (in McCain’s case).
If it were not for Sarah a lot of us would not even be here right now.
. Thankfully, in a strange way,Babmy did make it perfectly clear several times last night that his biggest intent will be to redistribute wealth in the country.
If this isn't a huge red flag for anyone with half a brain I don't know what is. Anyone voting for him now is either incredibly stupid or socialist.

Arizona has a history of sending old, out of touch former conservatives to Congress. I believe the rule is that they must be certified dead for 8 years prior to replacement.
I fully expect McCain to be the AZ Senator in 2032...

John Mccain does have wisdom and that, dear one is no longer a desireable trait among young folks......or for that matter, old folks. Approximately 49 to 50% of our nation. But this is how it’s always been.

Of course this was when He told Israelites to cross Jordan...But HIS idea is ....don’t look at the circumstances...they are daunting....look at Me and follow My Words.......

I am not....I am not... I am not....going to give in until there is no longer any light on the horizon.

McCain, Palin and the RNC are our only hope against communist/facsist/marxist/socialist ideology in our courts.

If you've ever read anything I've posted since accepting that McCain as our candidate, or for that matter read Corsi's "The Obama Nation" like I did this past month, you'd know otherwise. But I won't apologize for my disappointment in McCain in this lousy debate and his lousy big government promises.
The next debate, McCain needs to ask the moderator to ask about issues that really differentiate the candidates: abortion, gun control -- other touchstone issues. He needs to ask it first thing, first thing, right out of the gate: "This is the last debate: can we please get to these???"
Remember, inflated assessments BENEFIT cities and towns. Our own Town has been doing a lot of pork spending.
Years ago, we bought a house. There were too many houses on the market and the government provided grants to mget them off the market. We got about $3000.
Utility incentives: I installed a damper on my furnace and was able to deduct an amount exceeding what I paid for the unit.
Funny story...I decided I could install it myself (I'm female)..I got it in...no problem...
THEN...I read the rest of the directions...and saw the word..."explosion"...and called my furnace man.
He came right over, smiled and said I did good and never charged me a dime!!!
