While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
“Yes it is, I just put my bottle of vodka away.”
Why? Give it to me! My God! As a honest citizen in this country in my adult life I have never seen a worse debate! The most boring, lame discusion of minutea I have ever seen. Neither candidate inspired, neither were leaders. In short “My Freinds” We, The People lost. Our stock markets is falling, bank are failing and these two chuckleheads are our future??? Lord help us!!! I just recently turned my back on Bush but now after this dung heap I would vote for him for dictator!!! Sarah Palin, the rookie babe was a better leader last week than McCain could ever be. Obama had so many hanging cuve balls like his “Net Cut in Spending” which is what was hung around Newt’s neck in 1996 BY THE DEMS. I don’t so much fault the candidate so much as I fault Brokaw for the lame ass questions he selected
McCain also had a Kemp moment were he lost (in my mind) tonight. YOU ARE GOING TO ADD TO THE BAILOUT WITH ANOTHER ONE??????? WTF???
“Did anyone else hear Kondracke say that neither of them clearly answered the Israel question?
“Am I misremembering when I say that Sen McCain position was - absolutely we would act if necessary and not wait for the UN security council since China and Russia would roadblock any sort of decisive action?”
You remember correctly. That is what Senator McCain said. He displayed incredible statesmanship tonight.
“I just want to say I am NOT against interracial dating or marriage. I am assuming this text was taken from somewhere? Perhaps the source should be cited.”
EEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!
ICK!
BARF!
BLECH!
What was cool about the handshake was that the Navy guy initiated it.
What! No fist bump.
McCain let bambi talk on purpose. All he did was ramble run in circles....never answered a question...bambi was pathetic.....
I dont like shysters. Teleprompter or not
Romney could have battered Obama repeatedly on illegal immigration (which really cuts across party lines, especially among union workers), as well as enlightening the One on the intricate mechanisms which comprise our economy. McCain’s candidacy was D.O.A., the minute after he clinched the nomination. He’s simply a tired creature of the Senate, who’s more milquetoast than Maverick.
OK, watched the debate, read all the real posts, trolls, and doomsayers. This is my take: Boring, but McCain’s experience and true love of country shined through. Obama was moderately good in form, but zilcho on substance.
The alreadt decided won’t be swayed away from their choice. McCain probably picked up a few more battleground state independents. Obama probably picked up a few more big city East Coast independents and young voters (who fall for a slick sounding talker). Probably a wash in terms of total votes, but probably a slight win for McCain in states where it matters.
McDoled
I noticed that too. What was that?! I have never noticed that before.
They truly and indeed can NOT stand 0bama.
You’ve been posting there? :)

good lord...nite all...maybe tomorrow will be a better day.
Your logic inspires visions of kittens tied up in knots of knitting string.
There are plenty of Hillary supporters who are still plenty p*ssed at Obama.
I hope they stay that way.
I belong to a Puma forum and do all I can to keep the Obama hate going. LOL
