PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08
Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3
While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

McCain definitely won the debate.
Nobama said in his 1st presidency...how arrogant the man.
Nobama said if the country is broke we should withdraw and bring those resources back home to help here(meaning like the war).
Never answered several questions and when McCain was speaking all Nobama could do was blink blinkblink blink(did I mention he blinks alot) those dead eyes. That would make a great SNL skit!

I turned on MSNBC and watched their “undecided” panel and each of them said they were “now” leaning Obama but MSNBC didn't do their cause any favors being that each of the “undecided” looked mentally challenged.

Incredible performance by FR tonight, Jim and John. More than 220,000 views on this thread, and hardly a slow-down. The servers must be smokin' about now.
Thanks for all you guys are doing for our country!
Now, everybody... go to the Freepathon thread and help keep the lights on here, please!

I wonder how the DUmmies or KOSsacks are reacting to the debate? Are they thinking it was pretty much a draw or are they discouraged or happy? All of the DUmmies drink the Nobama cool aid and will say that Nobama not only beat McCain but killed then burried him right on national TV.

Like I said, position Left on the economy and environment by both candidates. There's no conservative position tonight on domestic policy. Its all panderfest in this townhall debate format.

I agree. Why do another debate. Obama is an idiot and America now knows it. He is not prepared or competent at this point in his career to be president.
Carter was unprepared. Clinton was unprepared. W was unprepaired (although I love the guy) and Obama is fraudulently unprepared.

I agree that Romney would have been great, but he wouldn’t have won. McCain has Sarah and the fact that he fought for our country. Those are the two things that will make a Repub win this election.

And that last question is what people watching the debate will remember.
