PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08

Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3

While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

I wish the average American could see this arrogance for what it is...

I pray they do.

Oh thank God, it's over.

Obama did not answer the question, What don’t you not know? He just blabbered.

McCain is answering the question. He’s saying he knows he can lead the country into an unknown future. Almost saying it anyway.

Moonlighter: Same here. Seeing him dismantle RainbowBama in a debate would’ve been worth the price of admission alone (not to mention he’s a man of extreme knowledge, experience and intergrity that would’ve appealed to the American people with higher profile).

ninergold3: I voted Duncan Hunter too.

Duncan Hunter nostalgia bump

I wish I had a camera when I wrote in Duncan in my state's GOP primary (unfortunately contested after McCain had the nomination). But I just got an idea: how awesome would it be if the House GOP had even more intestinal fortitude and Duncan became Speaker of the House if the GOP ever got the House back? That would be the coolest presidential succession in my lifetime--McCain (ehh), Palin, and Duncan*.

*--GOP_Raider was completely and unequivocally sober when this post was written.

Obamanazi is amazing. He has the answers. It's simple, if we just reduce our consumption of oil, we'll solve the Russian problem, the Iranian problem, and Isreal will be safe.

McCain, where are you? Obama's a sitting duck.

I can't hack it.

Somebody help me
