PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE #2 LIVE THREAD
10/07/08

Posted on 10/07/2008 2:01:24 PM PDT by TornadoAlley3

While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.

NBC’s Williams Says McCain/Palin Shunning Him Due to Editorial Leanings at MSNBC
Breitbart ^ | 10-7-08 | Breitbart TV

“I’ve asked them about it. We think it’s because they’re unhappy with our cable programming. But I’m here. I’m waiting,” said Brian Williams to the bastard maker Letterman.

Evening, All. Trying to catch up so here's my good news post from this morning...

Brian Wilson has been in battleground states these past few weeks chatting with the folks at diners and donut shops. This morning he was in Ohio—construction workers, union guys, Hillary women—ALL are enthusiastically voting for McCain. The only Barry gal was a 19-year old student who liked what Michelle said in a speech last year. (yeah, whatever)

Also yesterday, still in Ohio, he reported that whenever he got an undecided voter and then pressed them for an answer on the spot—they always said McCain. He said it was a remarkable trend. ;)

Senator Obama: would you prefer to answer a Q about Annenberg or Phillip Berg? Your choice. Take your time.

I’ve been experiencing the same thing. A page was always 100 posts long. Is this modification permanent? Thank you.

I’m also sent to a weird spot on the thread when I refresh my screen...it sends me way up to the beginning of the thread or page. I mentioned this the other day and someone else said it’s happening to them too.

“erratic”

Yes, that is the current Democrat buzz word. They want to paint McCain as “erratic” which is code for “old” and “senile”. I’ve listened to several Dem pundits today and when asked about Ayers they have 2 responses: 1. “Why aren’t you asking Sen. McCain about Keating” and 2. “The people don’t want to hear these attacks, they want to know what the candidates are going to do about this economy”

Lou Dobbs brought up the ACORN subject and a democratic spokesman said it will cost McCain the election if he brings it up tonight. Methinks he doth protest too much.

John should ask Obama which one of his ACORN buddies registered the entire front line of the Dallas Cowboys out in NV.
