While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
Another Oboma lie gas is #3.50 in Nashville not $3.80
Zero lying on energy.
What he means is we must go out NOW and inflate our tires to factory specs!!!!
McCain is doing much better than he did in the first debate. I have a feeling he is saving some for later in the debate. Just remember... one of the first rules of debate is to finish strong, because the finish is what is remembered more than the start.
Obama is dropping his “g’s” - will the MSM belittle him for that - as they do Palin?
Right. McCain is bouncing all over the place. Some good jabs but but he failed to blame the financial mess on dems and instead blamed it on greedy lenders. He blew the debate and possibly the election in how he answered the first question.
So far neither one of them is doing great. It’s a tie of mediocrity.
$15B a year for 10 years! Ouch! Health care??? Education? Free tuition?
It's down to $3.10 here in Little Rock and going down..
sw
No, no. He is not doing as terrible as you think. He is certainly sounding a little gaspy, but his points are right on.
Doing the bipartisan thing isn’t bad...people like to hear it.
Invest in ramen noodles?
WATCH Obama just opened the door to discussion of Iran, Venezuela, and Russia....all Obama supporters, especially Venezuela...
OK, McCain is ticking me off now. Authoritatively-voiced lies will trump weakly-voiced truth just about every time.
And get off the “bipartisan ship” already, McCain! That boat don’t float.
Roger that...
Just FYI— I will be posting some responses to Obama’s claims....pointing out lies, etc....
these are lengthy...but packed with facts...they come from:
mccain08hq.com
will start posting...
Not really socialist, more like wheeling and dealing with whoever has your mortgage, when your house is worth 200K less than what you owe, some people will opt out of paying their mortgage as a financial decision and declare bankrupty and move their finances and credit rating into their spouses name. Not pretty, but factual.
I'm afraid I'm just too depressed now...I think it's over. McCain just isn't the right candidate to go up against this guy. Obambi spews his bulls--- and McCain doesn't challenge him on any of it.
Then he sits and talks about energy!!! That ain't gonna get the job done, tonight, John!
How about the war first.
Gasoline... no he didn’t.
The way they ran from Congress when gas was sky high, then returned and wanted to stick more taxes on us.
And Obama said he wanted it to rise, but didn’t think it would so fast.
Yep, that's it. This is putting me to sleep. Turning to ESPN to watch the World Poker Championship.
