I sure do as my hubby and I were there! At least 20,000 were there and we had to be there by before 6:00AM to be ready for the buses at 6:00 to take folks to the park. We were there by 5:30 and a crowd was already there.
Side note: We were among the folks in Clearwater who formed the American flag behind Sarah. Our two white shirts we wore there yesterday are going to the printer today and for $12 bucks per shirt, our shirts will soon say:
On the front: Picture of American flag with the words God Bless America.
On the back: “I proudly wore this shirt on 10-06-08 in Clearwater, FL for Sarah Palin!”

Rod, Grab a map. Estero is a section of SW FL. There are people living and working all the way from North Ft Myers to nearly Marco. There are almost a million people living over here now between Collier, Lee and Charlotte County. US 41 from Del Prado to way south of Naples-proper is just one giant nearly contiguous commercial corridor. It is really impossible to tell when you left Fort Myers and entered Estero. Estero is to Fort Myers what Irving is to Dallas. Or how do you know when you leave Boyton and enter Delray.
In fact the event was held at a hockey rink that seats about 9K. Hardly anybody knows that the venue is NOT in Fort Myers.

BTW, the google maps are way, way out of date. Check downtown Punta Gorda. Half the structures shown were blown away by Charley back in 2004.
