Despite what the MSM and pollsters are indicating, conservatives across the width and breadth of this nation have reason to hope.
That hope is in one Sarah Palin and the tremendous impact she is having amongst every-day Americans of almost all stripes outside of the unabashed liberal elite.
Many of the people Sarah is appealing to will only be registered in one poll, the one in NOvember.

And McCain doesn’t have to throw a free rock concert to get people to come.

If I remember correctly she said Hillary was sincere, Obama forceful, Stand up Chuck emotional. On the other hand McCain had a “senior moment”, failed to move his arms a certain way which the “expert” said indicated something negative. She trashed someone else who was a Republican, (probably Romney...not sure) and of course the hit on Sarah last night. Unbelievable. And old fair and balance doesn’t really challenge her very hard. I would love to see him go after her like he did the sweety congressman.
..or piggy back on the ones already planned as he did in Portland and in Germany. He’s a fraud through and through...Sarah is the real McCoy.
I agree. I think the media and pollsters have created this McCain is losing mantra. They don't know anything about flyover country. Sad that so many Freepers are still buying into their nonsense.

I agree.........I remember in 2004 when the pundits and polls claimed John Kerry was ahead in key states and after the voting was over were surprised at how wrong they were. I’m not believing much of this. I don’t trust some of these polls. Sarah and John are now on the offensive and Americans have short memories (Bailout).

I really hope to see Sarah someday in person, although I know McCain/Palin won't waste precious campaign time in Connecticut.

I believe a lot of the data that the polls and maps are based upon is a mantre that the MSM and their pollsters are pushing off on us to try and blunt what is going on with Sarah as evidenced by these rallies...I also believe that it is not going to work.
Suddenly today we’re seeing polls much closer than the past couple days. But the sampling of Democrats, Republicans and Independents (at least in one...Zogby I believe) is much closer than in the earlier polls: 40% D, 38% R & 18% I, IIRC.
I simply don’t believe the public had a major shift either way through this bailout “crisis”. Congressional approval was at an all time low before the crisis even came to light. The bailout would simply reinforce that belief. And I suspect the American public can see beyond the media hype. We’ve already seen stories about media bias in this election.
I suspect this is why the Obama camp is so outraged over these attacks centering on Ayers and now his relations with insiders in the bailout crisis. The internal polls are and have been much closer than what we’ve been fed, and any real negative adds will hurt him tremendously.
They both know somebody that bombed the Pentagon.

Much that I have seen posted show very scant gatherings.. now the media can of course report that thousands were at a get together now cant they? Even if the number is much less
