SARAH PALIN DRAWING HUGE CROWDS ALL ACROSS AMERICA
SARAH PALIN TRUMPS OBAMA-BIDEN SITE ^ | 7 OCt 2008 | Jeff Head

Posted on 10/07/2008 5:20:46 AM PDT by Jeff Head

Despite what the MSM and pollsters are indicating, conservatives across the width and breadth of this nation have reason to hope.

That hope is in one Sarah Palin and the tremendous impact she is having amongst every-day Americans of almost all stripes outside of the unabashed liberal elite.

Many of the people Sarah is appealing to will only be registered in one poll, the one in NOvember.

Eagles up!

Did you see the body language expert on Oreilly the other night? I just knew she was going to trash Palin and praise Stand Up Chuck. She did.

Well..if McCain doesn’t turn this around tonight and hits hard, it will be over for both him and Sarah. Too many Americans (?) believe the economy, gas prices, job losses, housing markets and stock markets are the REPUBLICANS fault, which is why Obama Hussein is ahead 6 points now. It doesn’t look good for McCain.

On (Cleveland) television, a Democratic operative pointed out that when Obama holds a rally 25-30,000 people show up, whereas when McCain holds one he only draws 10-15,000.

The Republican spokesman replied, ‘That’s because McCain’s supporters are at work.’

I have been hearing that Sen. McCain has been taking the gloves off. It could be a warm up for tonight.

This is the incongruity in current election news. Polls show Obama ahead by 7-8%, and leading in most battleground states. News reports state the electorate is holding McCain and the Republicans at fault for the bailout mess. Yet the crowds both McCain and Palin draw are huge. Not only that but they’re responsive, even raucous in their enthusiasm.

I suspect the media is off the mark again this election, and has no idea of public sentiment. I also suspect the Obama camp is far more worried than we’re being told, aka their over-the-top reactions to the McCain/Palin attacks these past couple days.

It’s not over yet, folks.

There’s a lot of truth to that. A large chunk of Obama’s supporters come from the ranks of college students and community agitators. Not people that actually PRODUCE anything.

He'd better. This is his last chance to turn things around. People have their doubts about whether John can rise to the occasion. Sarah has helped tremendously but its the top of the ticket's job to show he wants to be President. Does McCain want the job he's been seeking for the better part of a decade? Tonight will tell the story - and the course of Election 2008.

Great piece, Jeff. Thanks...

Prior to his choosing Palin, conservatives were going to support, and vote, for McCain, beause we were AGAINST Obama and all that he stood for. Now, with Palin on the ticket, for the first time since Reagan, we have have someone on the ticket to be FOR, to support because she believes and holds dear all that which we also believe..our values, our precepts, our ideals, our vision for this great country. It's been a long time coming...

I noticed yesterday while watching Fox that almost to the minute during the time of McCain’s speech, the Dow was on a steady climb. Maybe it was coincidental, maybe not, but it’d be interesting to know whether that happens again, because yesterday he was talking (FORCEFULLY) about the economy.

Fight.....fight. I would love to see Obama get his butt kicked tonight. It will have to be a knock out blow though. Nothing less. Isn’t this the townhall type debate? I thought McCain was at his best in those. Hope he can cram 3 months of hard hitting truth about Obama into less than 90 minutes tonight.

Folks, I hold out hope for a McCain victory, but in case it doesn’t come to pass on 4 Nov, we can take comfort in the long view position — There is a great crop of brilliant young conservative rising stars who will lead the movement in future years, starting in 2012. In addition to Sarah, we have LA Gov. Bobby Jindal and VA Rep. Eric Cantor, to name a couple.
