Hey, I’m all for using biblical passages for

teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness
(2 Timothy 3:16)

But to non-believers, those who don’t recognize biblical authority, it’s meaningless.

One of the respondents said he or she is an atheist, but nevertheless agrees in principle that marriage should be between one man and one woman.

It goes far beyond that.
Quoting biblical authority identifies the author as brainless. If you can't use reason and logic to mount a valid argument, you are part of the problem...

I am not religious , never go to church as many here do not but not one of us agree with homo marriage or indeed two of the same sex having sex with each other

we just find it unnatural and disgusting so thanks for pointing what you did out
