The FBI and Department of Homeland Security today issued an analytical "note" to U.S. law-enforcement officials cautioning that al-Qaida terrorists have in the past expressed interest in attacking public buildings using a dozen suicide bombers each carrying 20 kilograms of explosives.
Authors with the U.S. Office of Intelligence and Analysis added that they have "no credible or specific information that terrorists are planning operations against public buildings in the United States."

According to the note obtained by NBC News, a "recently discovered audio recording of al-Qaida training sessions conducted several years ago provides instruction to potential suicide terrorists on seizing a publicly accessible building and damaging or destroying it with explosive charges."

Gosh I thought they were referring to Bill Ayers and the Obamathugs if the pretender doesn’t win.
“Surrender to Islamists...well I say NUTS!”

Well now, that couldn’t be addressed to me, because I would have to say, “Never.”

Oh no I was just making a play on words based on what the commander of a beseiged American regiment said at Bastogne when pressed by the Nazi’s to surrender!
Ok.
They are thinking statically. Our country is full of country side and homes and infrastructure that can be used to reconstitute order; even a new currency if need be. You can collapse the economy and currency for a time but it just doesn’t get at the very organicity that is America. Regions in this country can function fairly well during a crisis at least in the short and intermediate terms...heck Texas could be its own country if it wanted to be! Nope, terrorists can shake the bee-hive but they’ll just make a whole lot of bees very angry!
They would have to carpet NUKE us if they wanted to totally wipe us out...but then the rest of the world would be destroyed too!
Ping.
Once again, as so often before, a terror attack predicted for a particular day (10/7/08 this time) fails to materialize.
I appreciate the enthusiasm, and the seriousness of the expected event, but calling “Wolf!” too often kinda deflates the real thing.
