Ladies & Gentlemen, the only thing standing between us and the dark night of creeping socialism is Sen. John S. McCain.
In my opinion, Obama will advance a program of socialism in our country and with a Democratic House/Senate his agenda has a very good chance to succeed.
Obama's agenda is a Hugo Chavez variation of the same theme....take over the 'executive branch' and then slowly strangle democracy and those institutions that are designed to protect us from despotism...
I fear for the Republic. We are close to the abyss.....
Unreal that it has come to this.

John McCain is part of the incremental socialism that the GOP and the country as a whole have experienced for many years. He, like the socialist Democrats including Obama, supports amnesty for illegal aliens, the fallacy of human induced global warming, restriction of free speech under the guise of campaign finance reform and the latest socialist bail out scam. The former three issues he sponsored legislation with flaming socialists Ted Kennedy, Joe Lieberman and Russ Feingold.

This aint no Venezuela. The most likely outcome of a Dem sweep is a 1994 style rebound in 2010. It will be a tragedy, no doubt. But it won’t be the end. If you really think he can look in his little Alinski handbook and figure out how to muzzle opposition, you need to get a grip. Politics is never over.

America has fought communism for many years, and now we have invited a Marxist to run for PRESIDENT of the USA, Mr. OBAMA. One generation forgets the past, and a new generation is willing to step into the abyss. One thing we can all agree on, is that we all want change, but not the kind of change that Obama wants to shove down our throats. Let us try to stay free from tyranny.

What has brought us to this point? First and foremost, the destruction of the American family, which was the prime focus of the left in the 1960s. The left reasoned, correctly, that if they could weaken and compromise the American family, the institutions would follow.
Think of it. Although the youth of America always had a rebellious streak (rebelliousness is a trademark of youthfuleness), it wasn’t until the 1960s, when the radical left really reared its ugly head, that that rebelliousness escalated into loathing of the family and by extension the institutions that arose out of it. Weaken the family and the schools of America then proved to be fertile ground for the leftist dogma that had begun to infiltrate academia; the youth of America, especially in the public schools, after indoctrination by the left in the classroom, returned home and completed the destruction of the American family by tossing aside the values the American family had stood for for generations. It all went downhill from there.
But, that was the roadmap the radical left embraced. And Barack Obama is the personification of that dogma, and he and his minions, all of like mind, seek to drive us over the cliff for good.

Obama's agenda is a Hugo Chavez variation of the same theme....take over the 'executive branch' and then slowly strangle democracy and those institutions that are designed to protect us from despotism... Obama is Hugo-lite.
But once people get used to the assumptions that underpin socialism, and once socialism-lite has damaged an economy, its hard to get people to turn around. They keep demanding more of what is killing them until someone comes along and gives them the full dose.
By the time they figure out that the medicine is the disease, its too late. Most never figure it out.

I'm most afraid of the Supreme Court possibilities with a liberal court. It's obscene that 4 of the justices voted against the rights of all men to protect themselves, our families and our possessions.
We will lose all rights with a liberal court.
May God protect us, John McCain and Sarah Palin....for the sake of our country.

“Ladies & Gentlemen, the only thing standing between us and the dark night of creeping socialism is Sen. John S. McCain.”
Sorry, that’s wrong. McCain and the Republicans ARE the dark night of creeping socialism. Obama and the Democrats are the fast track to the same thing.
Vote mcCain, slow down the inexorable clock!

I don't want to play.
Yes, if this goes down in a month the way it looks now, we will have a VERY, VERY SERIOUS PROBLEM IN THIS COUNTRY. 1861 serious.
But this forum is for discussion of politics, not THAT.
