Puts some of these national polls to rest. How can he only by down 5 in New Mexico and down that much or more nationally. This is by a leftwing newspaper also (Albuquerque Journal).

But Lanny Davis just said on Fox that the election is over and McCain will lose in a landslide. When this year is analyzed it will be seen as the year that polls were thoroughly discredited.

“How can he only by down 5 in New Mexico and down that much or more nationally”

...because this is a candidate created out of thin air, darkness and emptiness. All of the polls are the same way. Throw some numbers out there and create either a temporary utopia for conservatives or depression. Whatever it takes.

The last civil war was the blue vs the Gray. This civil war will be the Red vs Blue. Wonder what state will be the capital of the Red. Alaska maybe??

Pollsters may be cute with their games (not all pollsters, but a lot of them) but the game is very dangerous. If they insist on manipulating data to show Obama ahead to keep readership/viewership and if Obama ends up losing, there will be riots and incessant claims that the election was stolen. And even more loss of trust in our voting system than there is now.

The pollsters better get it right.

Can you feel the momentum shift over the weekend? It’s very real. McCain is going to surge ahead now in the next days, you hide and watch. Obama has nothing left.

I’ve seen results in NM with Obama ahead by as much as 12 points recently in the past month. So something is very screwy with the polls. It’s like that poll last week in Va. One day cnn/time showed obama ahead by 9 in Va and the next day or two Mason-Dixon showed McCain ahead by 3. Something is not working right here.

"This civil war will be the Red vs Blue."

I like our chances. We've only got to knock of 10 cities -- even 3 would do it. They've got to knock off every other farm, town, and city in America.

Don’t worry. They will start adjusting their polling methods right before election day to show a 50-50 tie. They are measured only by the accuracy of their final poll. Watch for “surge” in the polls for McCain a couple of weeks before the election.

Bush took New Mexico in 2004. What you're saying is that McCain may potentially lose his neighboring state, badly.

Yep . Obama up 8 in RAS.

He is using a +8 DEM model now.

RAS is on the brink folks, if his model is flawed he will be the next Zogby.

All of this is based on the Young Vote.

Remember in 2000, RAS had Bush up 8 in his final tracker.

As long as the pollsters are using 10% DEM over samples, McCain will never lead.

I am disgusted by RAS
