Senator McCain, it’s time man up and demand answers to these questions
The Collins Report ^ | Oct..6, 2008 | Kevin “Coach” Collins

Posted on 10/06/2008 5:01:08 AM PDT by jmaroneps37

The timing of political moves is always as important as the moves themselves. Elections are won and lost each cycle because political ammunition is mishandled or precisely used.

The ammunition John McCain has against Barack Obama is copious, and now is the time to use it. When they square off McCain has to demand answers to these questions.

If America is not what it used to be, when was America at her best?

You sponsored a bill to turnover 80 billion America taxpayer dollars to the United Nations every year until they decide they’ve taken enough, how can you claim to be a friend of the middle class?

Why do you want to take the cap off FICA taxes and double capital gains taxes?

Why have all the world’s communist dictators endorsed you?

Why is there no America flag on your plane?

What truly difficult decisions have you made in your life?

How do you explain your lack of support among Catholic and Evangelical Christians?

You hold duel Kenyon and American citizenship, will you renounce your Kenyon citizenship or be the only American president in history to maintain this status?

When will you admit that your ties to Tony Rezko and Bill Ayers are as they have been reported?

Explain how your tax plan gives relief to 95% of tax payers when 45% don’t pay any taxes right now?

Explain why no one but Senator Dodd got more money from employees of Freddy and Fannie then you?

You have talked about rural voters bitterly clinging to their bibles and guns while being suspicious of those not like them, do you regret having said these things?

It’s time for John McCain to man up, get tough and demand answers

Unloading too soon or too late is always the most important part of using your op-research. A few cycles back we lost a Congressional seat on Long Island solely because the campaign used damaging material way too early and the Democrat controlled media was able to talk it away before Election Day.

I am convinced Barack Obama has been in a campaign to brainwash like a Cult leader young minds. You have to talk in small sentences and deprogram.

When ever you see an Obama supporter.

Just look in their eyes and say.

Are you okay? You know Obama is a dangerous man right?

If they say something back just keep shaking your head no, as they talk. Then walk away. do not say anything more

McCain's decision, through his campaign announcement yesterday, to go after the Ayers connection seems to indicate that he is doing just what this post requests. BRAVO!.

“The last four weeks of this election will be about whether the American people are willing to turn our economy and national security over to Barack Obama, a man with little record, questionable judgment, and ties to radical figures like unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers. Americans need to ask themselves if they’ve ever befriended an unrepentant terrorist, or had a convicted felon help them buy their house — because those aren’t smears, those are true facts about Barack Obama.” —Tucker Bounds, spokesman McCain-Palin 2008

The real question is what the American people will do...and with Sarah out there all over the country, that is becoming more and more clear with each passing day.

SARAH PALIN SPOTTED "HIDING" FROM THE PRESS IN VA, CA, & NV

I'M VOTING FOR SARAH...AND SO ARE A WHOLE LOT OF OTHER PEOPLE

Man up, Senator.

My vote, on Wednesday (absentee) for you depends on it. And a lot more than my vote depends on it as well.

Senator McCain,

Ask Obama about the law suit against him claiming he is not a citizen, requiring to show a birth certificate.

You don’t have to say he isn’t but you can ask for clarification on the law suit. Most people don’t know there is one.

Hard to believe McCain would get into all these issues, even if there were time. Beyond the character questions there are plenty of attacks he could make based only on 0bama’s voting record in IL and the US Senate. Til now McCain does not seem to have played this up enough, though I am not in a swing state so I have not seen many ads. I have to wonder though if any attacks, like the one on the Ayers scandal, aren’t too late since McCain has spent so much time being nice, saying he respects 0bama, etc. Suddenly going into a vicious attack more will be written off as desperation. Still the facts are facts, and they are quite ugly. They should at least keep Palin on the attack, and run ads with the truth in all the states they hope to win.

I don’t think this particularly is a good idea. Obama will just demand that he release his Naval Academy grades and his full medical record...let’s not worry about Obama’s grades in college...who really cares. George W. Bush had a 77 average and still did ok as President. There are other things to get Obama on. We have too much at stake to worry that it will back fire on McCain.

The PA city of Phila and its burbs are ripe for switching to McCain but McCain’steam is BLOWING IT BIG TIME

The local Sports Talk radio WIP has a huge audience

Obama has ads on every hour on the hour for the last several weeks —And they are SLICK well done ads

ZERO from McCain’s team

I know Philly is a liberal bastion but I lived there and now I live in the burbs — I know the people and a significant number can be turned in this election

This is depressing —who the hell is running his campaign

What are the chances that Mccain is in the boat for Obama? Seriously, theres so much to be said about Obama and nothing is said, just this past weekend something is finally said about Ayers! To me thats old news, we the people have known about that for years, and yet it finally comes out! I dont understand, everything going on with ACORN and Ayers and not knowing Obamas past like we know Palins is just amazing. When I talk to liberals and tell them the facts, they are so brainwashed from the media that its impossible to change their mind, even with youtube videos and facts from .gov sites....

“Til now McCain does not seem to have played this up enough, though I am not in a swing state so I have not seen many ads.”

I’m in a swing state, and the ads are pretty tame IMO. Showing photos of people involved in things like the housing crisis without explaining who that person is in detail and how they’re related to a particular incident is completely ineffective. Radio ads have music in the background that seems - scary, for lack of a better term. Yes, it’s Halloween time but it’s lame. For an audio ad, just get to the facts quickly and get the info out.

I did hear a local political analyst say McCain’s camp waited too long; it takes awhile for news to settle in with folks, and now the attacks will be dismissed as desperation as you mentioned.

There was so much good stuff - the hiding of all his files from school records to medical records to state legislature records; the Born Alive Protection Act; so much. And we are in early voting phase and all we hear is how 0bama is going to give everyone access to decent health care; bring back jobs; you know, all the things people want to hear. Consider also that 0bama has dropped the lazy speech, the dragging S’s, the appearance of a Southern preacher on a hot summer day. He is succinct and enunciates well. He is what they are looking for on surface, and he is gaining speed very quickly in a state that leaned red 6 weeks ago. We got moved back to ‘tossup’.

I will give the 0bama campaign one point, and one point only: They have a better marketing campaign. Will a great marketing strategy work? I dunno - we’ll know in about a month.

We already know about it. He did it on the Russian fall or something similiar. Who knew that Russia would be in the news again after he did it. I guess it would be interesting to see what his recommendations were to get Russia back on their feet again. I always find reading those types of papers boring. I have had to write quite a few of them in my day...I only have a Master’s, so I don’t have a published Thesis just one that the professor graded for my last class and it is in storage somewhere (hopefully never to be seen again...lol. I can’t imagine people on FR would be interested in my paper from college but I guess people have all kinds of interests.

He did it on Soviet nuclear disarmament in 1983. If it was so “innocuous” he would have released it. I bet it shows him to be a pro-Soviet, anti-American appeaser.

I am trying to be logical here. If you told me to get my thesis out right now and show everyone. I would first of all go through every box of crap that I had (some actually in storage) and the rest at the house and hopefully find it. I probably would find it but I would not guarantee it. Would that disqualify me for President??? I hope not. I did mine on the difference between recruiting in the four U.S. Militaries. I don’t think I did a superior job on it but did pass. lol.
