Palin spoke for about 30 minutes at a brunch, impressing the audience with her candor, humor and ability to connect with the audience. Siebel Systems founder Tom Siebel introduced her.
"Sarah Palin carries the flag of outrage "... for each of who cries out, 'We're mad as hell, and we're not going to take it anymore,','' Siebel said.
Palin said she would take back to McCain advice she heard from her two-day California swing: "Enough of you have whispered in my ear"... 'John, take the gloves off.' Americans have to start hearing about the real Barack Obama.''
She received loud applause and a standing ovation.
Palin also pledged the campaign would hone its pitch to working-class Amercians. The campaign, she acknowledged, "needs to do a better job explaining" how the high cost of energy is affecting average Americans. "The costs of groceries are going up and the value of your paycheck is going down, and that's all because of energy costs,'' she said.
She also laughed off her roundly criticized interviews with CBS anchor Katie Couric, joking that she's been repeatedly asked, "Why do you do so lousy in that Katie Couric interview?''
Her answer sent the entire room into laughter: "What I should have said was, 'It's just job security for Tina Fey.' ''

“...Why aren’t they VOCALLY RALLYING BEHIND HER????...”
We are watching a monumental chess match.
I think in the coming weeks, you will see Barry being hit so hard, so fast and from so many directions he will think the sky has fallen on him.
He has to be soundly defeated. There can be no question in anyone’s mind that he lost by a wide margin.
I predict there will be riots regardless, win or lose. Expect a ‘hostile take over bid’.
I call your attention the situation in Mexico after the leftest candidate lost there.
It ain’t gonna be pretty.

He needs to run it in place of Hannity and Colmes. It was devastating. I hope someone in the McCain camp watched it. Perhaps McCain himself. Sometimes, I think he just doesn’t know half this stuff.
I’m still in shock...and very terrified, too.
Just still pouting over not being chosen.
A truly excellent ad. You’d think the MSM would want to know more about this stuff.
Absolutely. The fact he very well may be our next President (God forbid) frightens the hell out of me as well as it should every other sane American.
Words can’t describe how important this election is and will be to future generations. This nation can’t and will not survive at least 4 years of a marxist President in Obama and a Dem majority on top of that.
No way. No how. NObama bin Biden.
Mitt was on several shows that I have seen and read about in the last week. Go eat the rest of your own.
If I am wrong then I will retract that last statement. I just haven’t seen him. Prior to the VP pick I thought he was one of the better surrogates
bttt
But there’s no Perot this time around.
Trying to blame Obama for the economy is difficult. Saying Obama is best friends with Ayers is easy to do, and easy to explain.
“Decent Patriotic Americans never let people who bombed the Pentagon host fundraisers for them at their house.”
Economics is confusing.
Bombing the Pentagon is very bad. It’s an awful lot like
what happened on 9/11. And even today, key swing voters in
battleground states are against what happened on 9/11, even though it happened way back when Obama wasn’t even a US Senator.
Wrong. Kerry’s treason turned off voters.
Your 100% correct on that. Slick Willie lied about the economy in 1992 and convinced some voters, but Perot drew off those fools who would have voted Republican but believed (1) that Perot had sufficient support to win and (2) that Perot do anything different if he were elected.
Why are they projecting their actions? Take the gloves off, don’t say you will. They are acting like it’s August or something. 30 days left. What are they waiting for?
“...they are running it again at midnight.”
I want to see Fox run it during the week. Are you a true news outlet, Fox? Prove it by running Hannity’s special during the week when you have a major viewing audience.
(Most people were watching football this weekend while Fox played Hannity’s special.)

They need to reverse the order on the ballot if they want to win the election!
Palin for President, McShame for Vice President!
Excellent! Thanks Meek. :)
Thank YOU! :)
