Barack Obama was much older than 8 when William Ayers was photographed stepping on a US flag in 2001, for an article in which Ayers said he had No Regrets for his violent actions in the Weather Underground.
In fact, at the same time Ayers was in a Chicago alley desecrating the flag, he and Barack Obama were serving on the board of the Woods Fund together: PolitiFact | Obama served on board with Ayers.
Deborah Harrington, president of the Woods Fund, a philanthropic organization in Chicago, said Obama was a director from 1994 through 2001. That overlaps Ayers time as a director by three years. It also means Obama served with Ayers for the final months of 2001, after Ayers made his comments to the New York Times.
Maybe the "Ayers attack" is a head fake and while they're preparing to pre-empt that attack, he's going to hit them with the Fannie and Freddie stuff. Nah....
ping
Decent post but seriously, dem-rats peppered through out
is detrimental to the argument.
Why was Obama in the Living room of a known Terrorist? Obama admits he knew the guys activities in the 60’s. Why would he go to his house? Was he trying to change the guy? did he tell Ayers on that day that he was vehmently against his 60’s radical acts? You can’t come up now and say I detest the things this man did in the 60’s but I sat down with him for tea/ Is this the kind of Unconditional meetings with terror leaders we can expect in an Obama Administration?
Obama’s Change is the wrong Radical, Reckless change that America needs. His trillion dollar increased spending will have the same effect at the Smoot-Hawley act did during the Great Depression.
NOBAMA EVER.
I think Ayers is in the top 20 people I’d like to be locked in a room with for 10 minutes. No rules.
Maybe BOTH!! FIRE AT WILL! FIRE ALL GUNS!
Belated ping in case you missed.
“Maybe the “Ayers attack” is a head fake and while they’re preparing to pre-empt that attack, he’s going to hit them with the Fannie and Freddie stuff. Nah....”
Would be brilliant. But don’t forget that McCain’s PC was stolen. You can’t out-finesse them when they have that much intel. No worries. Some strategic positions are so bad that it’s ‘Checkmate’.
When and where did that happen?
This alone should be enough to disqualify Obama.
Exactly! McCain dropped in the polls because the RATS successfully hung the Fannie/Freddie mess on McCain when in fact it was OBAMA and his RAT buddies that are to blame. Voters don't know who Ayers is but they sure know they are hurting from the Fannie/Freddie mess. So come on Mac, HIT Obama on his involvement in Fannie/Freddie.
YEP “facts are painful things”
But that’s why some don’t like facts above all among liberals!
So it must be repeated,precised,emphasized...Because,you know, that CNN “checked” the facts and found that OSSAMBA was 8 when AYERS was doing is “job”...
Yes CNN checked eeeeevery thing ya know! Yes really
PALIN must repeat giving more details so that they maybe understand and CNN finally Shut the ....up,AND McCAIN must also REPEAT IT and also attack on the financial crisis roots...since CNN is trying to say that Republicans are trying to take off the table the issue of economy supposed to favour democraps...
CNN is repeating that republicans are “going negative” and that it could hurt repuvblicans themselves in a backclash(wishfull thinking).
Fire on OSSABAMA and CNN....
It’s time for the McCain campaign to start calling the media liars.
To their face.
And giving the facts on each media lie, citing chapter and verse.
Wow, I never knew that a war based on love and cooperation included setting bombs off and killing police officers.
LOL! You didn't know the Weather Underground were an "army of lovers"?
New York Times, September 11, 2001:
"He [Bill Ayers] also writes about the Weathermen's sexual experimentation as they tried to 'smash monogamy.' The Weathermen were 'an army of lovers,' he says, and describes having had different sexual partners, including his best male friend."

"when I was getting ready to leave [Bill] Ayers told me I couldnt go until I slept with his roommate and his brother. At this point Bill and I had slept together just once. I was sexually inexperienced, having had only one serious boyfriend with whom I had recently broken up. At first I thought Ayers was joking. I got up; and went to the door. He moved quickly to block me at the doorway. He locked the door and put the chain on it. I went to the couch and sat down and told him that I had no intention of having sex with his roommate and his brother or him. He said that I had no choice but to do as he said if I wanted to get out of there. He claimed that I wouldnt sleep with his married roommate because he was black -- that I was a bigot. I got up from the couch and walked over to the black roommates bed and put myself on it and he ****** me. I went totally out of my body. I floated beside myself on the outside and above the bed looking at this black stranger **** me angrily while I hated myself."

August 2001, Chicago Magazine (article: No Regrets)

October 3, 2008 (IDG News Service) Republican campaigners in Missouri are beefing up security after a laptop containing “strategic information” was stolen from a campaign field office of presidential contender John McCain.
The theft occurred at a campaign office in Independence, Missouri, sometime between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Wednesday, according to Tina Hervey, a spokeswoman with the Missouri Republican Party. When staffers showed up for work Wednesday, they found that someone had thrown a brick through the glass windows fronting the office, rifled through a bag and stolen a Dell laptop belonging to a regional campaigner.
