A group of Christian supporters of Barack Obama who has a 100 percent pro-abortion Senate voting record have created a website touting the Democratic presidential candidate as the most pro-life choice in November's election.
The Pro-Life Pro-Obama website argues that Obama's economic and health care plans and support of programs for the poor will do more for reducing abortions in the U.S. than the positions of his Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain.

This is Respect Life Sunday for Roman Catholics voters (25%). Vote for life!
Now if he had a 110% pro-abortion senate record, then maybe-just maybe-they would have to consider reconsidering their entire position. Democrat logic at its best/worse
How can educated people weave such a tangled web of deception?
The emerging-church-liberal-social-gospelites strike again!
Asked for additional comment on their political philosophies, the organizers of the website added: “War is Peace; Freedom is Slavery; Ignorance is Strength.”
I wasn't suggesting we were astroturfing Obama
but rather that he was astroturfing us...if I understand the term correctly.
Maybe we should legalize shooting people in the head with a handgun, and say that’s OK because certain economic policies will make it less likely that people will shoot each other in the head. Then we can say “Jesus taught us that” with a big, self-satisfied grin.
Oh, maybe that wouldn’t be such a good idea. I really believe these sorts of things are pushed by “Christians” who believe at their core that there’s simply no way Jesus will really ever judge their behavior.
Who knows what is in men’s hearts?
was there a list of the other pastors involved? I want to see if Joel Hunter’s in this.
Its phony. This is how you do propaganda.
Some people will fall for it, but most of them will have journalism degrees, and those guys are notoriously easy.
Note from DOUGLAS W. KMIEC: As Ronald Reagan's legal counsel and as a dean and professor at Catholic University and Notre Dame,
He fails to mention: The Matthew 25 Network is a Federal Political Action Committee (PAC) that works to elect and promote candidates who share our values through grassroots mobilization, raising our voices in the media, and paid advertising.
Staff of Matthew 25 Network: Mara Vanderslice is the organizing force behind the Matthew 25 Network. Prior to founding Matthew 25, Mara worked with Common Good Strategies, a political consulting firm that worked on connecting elected officials, candidates and state parties with Americas diverse religious communities. CGS worked on numerous successful political campaigns in 2006. Prior to that, Mara was the Director of Religious Outreach for the Kerry-Edwards 2004 campaign
This is a Obama front group. I'm sure paid by Soros money
It's appalling hypocrisy for them to use this quote
The real quote from The Book of Matthew
34"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.'
37"Then the righteous will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'
40"The King will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.'
41"Then he will say to those on his left, 'Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, 43I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'
44"They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?'
45"He will reply, 'I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
46"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."
Footnotes:
Laura Ingraham had him on her show. His arguments were nonsense and she easily refuted them. Claims that abortions rose under Bush - false. Claims about liberal/socialist healthcare policies reducines abortion - nonsense. Completely ignored the fact that Obama was a pro-abortion extremist and would fund taxpayer-funded abortions and repeal the Hyde Amendment *and* would gut some state-level abortion restrictions via Freedom of Choice Act. And that leaves the fact that Obama would appoint justice that lock Roe v Wade for another generation, and Kmiec tried to pretend that was a nonissue. That *IS* the issue! Within minutes, he was babbling incoherently. You have to have the IQ of a turnip to fall for this.
This is all about wishy-washy liberal Catholics finding a rationalization to vote pro-abort. Lies people tell themselves are the worst lies of all. Doug Kmiec is a party to a bamboozling.
May God separate the wheat from the tares, and do it soon!!!
Useful idiots, or liars pretending to be pro-life. It’s one or the other.
Those who really stand for the right to life have to not fall for the Orwellian doublespeak.
Unf...believable
These are Christians/Catholics in Name Only. CINOs. Ignore them.
