John Voight opened for Gov. Palin today in Carson, Ca. Beforehand, the media grabbed him to ask him a few questions. Reluctantly, he answered some, but saying that, really, they should be asking Gov. Palin.
What he said wasn't what they expected, as this youtube attests to.

You know, the theatre was pretty quiet, except for the couple of ‘Uncle A***ole’ remarks. I got similar impressions as I did from the crowd when watching “Passion of the Christ” and the first Waco documentary.

It’s so rare to hear that from entertainment people. Good for him. I know he has been supporting the Republican ticket and I hope more and more of the Hollywood crowd will speak up. I loved that he put to the press about their bias. The press has become the useful idiots of the socialists.

Bravo for Jon Voight. He nailed it with his comments about the partisan press. I can't wait to go see American Carol and support the brave Conservatives among the Hollyweird idiots.

Yeah, when I saw that, my jaw dropped. His stock went up immediately.
We need more like him, and we need to support them.

The reporter thanked him! Exactly. Here is a “right winger” presenting his point with passion, but with courtesy and in a conversational manner. Not insulting, but forcefully and above all, tactfully.
The reporter was out of his league, btw.

Jon Voight’s comment about the MSM be so far in the tank for the democrats make it next to impossible for the American people to make informed decisions in elections. Boy is he right. If the MSM were un biased as it should be, I’d be willing to bet that very few democrats would ever get elected.

So the reporter sums up his three minute interview with Voigt, whose comments were almost entirely about the bias in the press and their failure to vet Obama with: “He clearly thinks Sarah Palin did well in the debate”.

Yes, the reporter had to keep on the Democratic talking points. Every GOP supporter who has the opportunity to get on live television should do exactly what Voight did.

Haven’t seen the flick yet, but I’m sure he did a great Washington. To me, he wll alway be Manny from “Runaway Train”.
He laid it on thick to CNN’s reporter. Great. Someone needed to. Bet the guy thought he was going to have a typical interview. How wrong he was.
